Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Wray Common Nursing & Residential Home in Reigate, Surrey.

Wray Common is a ‘Good’ rated care home registered for up to 55 residents in the categories of nursing and residential care. The business occupies a substantial period detached property with modern extensions, and is situated in an enviable position on Wray Common in Reigate.

The home has been owned by the Segal family since 1988 and was brought to market because they are retiring from the care sector.

Following a confidential sales process run by John Harrison at Christie & Co, it has been purchased by Sena Satheewaran, who also owns Old Wall Cottage care home in Betchworth, which he purchased through Christie & Co in 2019.

John Harrison, Director – Care at Christie & Co, comments, “I am delighted to have completed the sale of Wray Common Nursing Home on behalf of the Segal family following their long tenure of ownership. During this time, they have substantially extended and transformed the care home. As Sena had bought Old Wall Cottage care home nearby through me, I always thought Wray Common would be a great fit for him. It is brilliant to see his continued expansion in the sector, and I am sure he will continue the successful operation of Wray Common, which is so well established and has always enjoyed a good reputation. This sale shows the strong demand we are continuing to see for care homes in the South East.”

Wray Common Nursing & Residential Home was sold for an undisclosed price.
