Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Park Lane House Care Home in Dudley, West Midlands.

Park Lane House is an established care home registered for up to 30 residents who require dementia care. It occupies a large, extended Georgian-style property in the popular residential suburb of Woodsetton in Dudley.

The home has been owned by the husband-and-wife duo, Mike and Bernadette Ramdoo, since 1988 and was brought to market to allow them to retire.

Following a confidential sales process with Paul Reilly at Christie & Co, the home has been sold to Mark Busra of Pegasus Care Homes Ltd, which provides specialist care and supported living for young adults, and residential care for the elderly.

Paul Reilly, Director – Care at Christie & Co, comments, “This was a challenging transaction at times, but resulted in a very positive outcome for all parties. We conducted over 20 viewings and had multiple offers, which shows the continuing demand for care homes not only in the West Midlands but UK-wide.”

Park Lane House Care Home was sold for an undisclosed price.
