Friary Care goes to the Sea Life Centre

Wow, what a day! When Friary Care went to the Sea Life Centre!

Our residents started the day by enjoying beautiful fresh air as we walked to the Sea Life Centre – it was so nice to enjoy the sun shining down on us as we left the home. And then we (staff, residents, and family members) lined up to go inside, ready and eager to have a day to remember!

We had such an amazing day! We saw so many captivating different species of fishes, sharks, otters, penguins, and more! We all had a fantastic sing-song, followed by a lovely picnic with staff and family members, we even had family members from some of very much loved previous residents volunteering and overall helping to make the day as magical as possible. This was so very nice, and it was this that allowed us to make so many new and beautiful memories.

Once we got back to the home, we finished off the day with a good old fashioned cup of tea and a glass of wine. All in all, we had such an amazing time and can’t wait for the next lovely day out here at Friary Care!
