Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has announced the sale of Swanborough House care facility in Brighton, East Sussex.

Swanborough House is a residential care service based in Brighton, East Sussex, which provides rehabilitation or continuing care for adults following an acquired brain injury.

The business occupies a purpose-built property that is registered for 41 service users. Following a confidential sales process with John Harrison at Christie & Co, it has been sold on behalf of Renovo Care Group to Integrum Care Group, which already operates specialist care services in East Sussex and Kent.

Colin Richards, Group CFO and COO at Renovo Care Group, comments, “Following the considerable investment we have made in Swanborough House, it was important to find a buyer with good experience in the specialist care sector who will continue the successful operation of the business, and I am delighted that Integrum Care Group fits very well with this.”

Adrian Pancott, CFO Integrum Care Group, comments, “We are excited to be expanding further with the acquisition of Swanborough House because it is such an established and well-respected specialist care business which blends in very well with our existing care home group in East Sussex and Kent.”

John Harrison, Director – Care at Christie & Co, comments, “Having worked with both Renovo Care Group and Integrum Care Group on other care home transactions previously, I always felt Swanborough House would be a great opportunity for Integrum Care Group to purchase, as it has a strong reputation in the specialist care sector and complements their existing care business well. It was good to use this experience to work with them both again and achieve a successful outcome on this transaction.”

Swanborough House was sold for an undisclosed price.
