World Food Day 16th October at EB - Barchester Epsom Beaumont Care Home

Many will mark World Food Day by celebrating food from around the world, we normally have parties, international buffets, learn more about other cultures and bring some diversity into the residents’ lives.

This year we will have to ask external people to join us virtually either to join the fun or to provide music and talks. Local restaurant to donate authentic international recipes for the chefs to cook in our home

So our residents would rather mark World Food Day by learning about sustainable food. There are many small market gardeners and farmers around Epsom who work tirelessly to provide fresh local produce that you would find at a farmers market. We will invite them over Zoom and maybe even give our residents a tour of their business. Think local growers, food producers, (cheese, beer, jam, bakers.)
