Robert Burns, a famous Scottish poet was born on January 25 1759, and went on to become one of Scotland's most famous Poets, writing Alud Lang Syne when he was 29 years old.

Our Chef at kingsland house will be creating a supper to celebrate with with a traditional supper of Haggis, Neaps and Tatties, and accompanied the ‘Address to a Haggis’ poem being read aloud, a dram of scotch whisky,
