Welcome to the February Newsletter.

After Christmas, we have been entertaining ourselves in different ways to help pass the time. We probably had the most fun when we decided to have a Cowboy day.
We had loads of fun making campfires and Wanted Posters. We helped each other decide on our “crimes” and had a good laugh. Everyone has a wanted poster. Please let me know if you would like a copy.
Cowboy Bingo proved a hit and we played other games such as Cowboy O and X and racing our animals back to the ranch. Everyone enjoyed their cowboy lunch around the “campfire” and singing well-loved country songs.

Lassoing “Dobbin the horse” proved to be trickier than we thought but we all had a good time trying, and some were a natural.
The staff like any opportunity to dress up and today was no exception. Some had “posh horses”. Others were more “bargain basement”.

Thanks to all the staff for helping to make Cowboy Day a fun event. Next, we can look forward to Valentine’s Day and Pancake Day. We may not be able to attend the traditional pancake races but we will still be making our own fun.
