Secret Screenings - BBC Proms To Soothe the Aching Heart - Candlewood House

British opera stars join Ben Glassberg and the BBC Philharmonic for a night rich in emotion and drama in this BBC Proms performance.

Caccini, Beethoven, Puccini and Bizet feature in this evening of opera excerpts on the themes of separation and reconciliation at 7.00PM. Performers include sopranos Sally Matthews, Natalya Romaniw, Nardus Williams, Christine Rice; mezzo-soprano Nicky Spence; tenor Freddie De Tommaso; with BBC Philharmonic Conducted by Ben Glassberg.

Admission to the home is subject to a negative LFD Covid-19 test that will be conducted on arrival. Please arrive at least 35 minutes prior to the start time of the screening, as result takes 30 mins. You will be required to wear a mask in all areas of Candlewood House, including the Cinema Room.

We run regular Secret Screenings of major sports events, music and cultural events, and a monthly NW2 Cinema Club which are open to the local community.

All events are FREE but are subject to maximum numbers. Currently, numbers are reduced to allow for social distancing.
