Blatchington Manor have a variety of exciting activities coming up in September, including:

Wednesday 1st - Anniversary of the start of World War 2

There will be reminiscing, a coffee morning, special one to one activities, and group story telling

Wednesday 8th – International Literacy Day

To celebrate International Literacy Day there will be a special coffee morning with poetry readings, hand writing sessions, and a cookery class making shortbread alphabet biscuits to enjoy during afternoon tea

Saturday 11th – Last Night of the Proms

There will be a special afternoon tea party where everyone will be invited to attend dressed to impress. There will also be showings of the Proms

Tuesday 14th – Blatchington Church visit

From 11.00am the local Church will be visiting to provide a religious service in the garden with prayers, and hymns. Communion will also be available for those wishes to take

Friday 17th – Alzheimer's Walk

Today staff and residents will walk the gardens to help raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. Blatchington Manor would like to invite one family member to safely walk around the garden with their loved one. If you would like to take part, please contact for a time slot booking

Friday 24th – The Chelsea Flower Show

In honour of the Chelsea Flower Show there will be flower arranging classes, where residents will be supported to make a beautiful display for the reception area, and other garden based activities
