View Full Details of Cedar Park Nursing HomeI am a library volunteer from a library service and am writing from my personal perspective as a library visitor to residents at Cedar Park. I always find the staff to be friendly, efficient and helpful. They know the residents very well and are very professional in supporting me to provide reading materials to enhance the quality of the experience of the residents. The property is always calm, clean and well organised. Above all, it is a very caring place.
My brother has been in the nursing home for over 2 years. His care has been the best The staff of all levels are excellent - kind, caring - excellent friendly. I must say some decoration and painting of the rooms would make the rooms more pleasant.
I would like to express myself regarding the excellent treatment given from all staff and admin. For the help service of care given to my cousin. Care, kindness, and all aspects given. They all deserve a medal. Including cleaning staff. They are giving 100% service in all areas. And what is more important a smile and politeness. Good team work. That follows.
Thank you so much for your kindness and the incredible care you give to my uncle. Any time we visit, it is clear how happy and well cared for he is. All staff are very respectful and clearly know him well. I am always informed of any issues/changes in his health and staff are happy to answer my questions. Excellent!
Amazing Day for Uncle on his 90th Birthday, cannot fault the staff who made this day extra special for Uncle. Cake was exceptional and the food Too! Thankyou all xxx
I am realy pleased with the care given to my uncle. The staff are all very friendly and careing, I couldn't ask for more.
Mum was extremely well looked after, she was there for end of life. Staff absolutely amazing.
Warm, friendly home with kind staff. Decor shabby but new wing being build. Food good.
Mum is well-treated and has thrived whilst in the care home. She gets homesick but that is natural. We would have lost her a year ago if not for the dedication of the staff.
I attended a birthday party, 101 years old, which was beautifully arranged by the management and staff. We all enjoyed ourselves very much and were much impressed by the kindness of all the staff, the wonderful food, the happy atmosphere and the love and care shown to our friend. My grateful thanks to all at the nursing home.
Everything we experienced at Cedar Park Nursing Home is to be highly commended. Staff at every level were extremely sympathetic, understanding and helpful and demonstrated great patience and kindness to residents. The palliative care given to our friend could not have been bettered. We will be ever grateful for it.
I am one of a group of friends who found ourselves caring for a mutual friend who was terminally ill with cancer. After a terrible few weeks when he was in and out of hospital, and we were having to share the role of primary carer at his home, he was ultimately released from the hospital into your care. It was such a relief to feel that we were no longer responsible for him on a daily basis and we were all really impressed with the level of care he received from you right up until he passed away. The staff were all brilliant, regularly checking in on him and really caring him for him. Weekly checks by a doctor and specialised nurses added to the comprehensive package of care he received. Although he was unable to eat very much, the food was excellent, even to the point when some piping hot fish and chips, followed by rice pudding, were left untouched, my wife said she'd book me a place in the future when she could see how much my mouth was watering!
My experience of care homes over the years has been where they have provided end of life care for members of my family and for friends. The quality of the care that I have seen at Cedar Park is exceptionally high and this applies to all members of staff that I have met from the top through the entire team. The compassion and care that I have experienced here and the excellent communication makes a huge difference at a time when friends and family are trying to navigate uncharted waters. Hospice nurses have been absolutely incredible working closely with staff at Cedar Park. It's extremely important to feel that you are all in safe, qualified and experienced hands at this critical time in our lives. The staff excel at this and seeing how they all genuinely care passionately about how they can help make a dire situation completely tolerable, even joyful at times is a huge blessing. Thank you all so much.
My god father spent the final few weeks of his life at Cedar Park Nursing Home. Without exception, the staff were attentive, caring, kind and professional. There were some complicated medical requirements involving wound dressings, and visits from a specialist tissue nurse and another nurse confirmed that the wounds were being managed very well. I would recommend this home without reservation.
My much loved mum came to you for 'end of life' care and she and the family were made to feel very welcome and safe with the level of care in place. Staff were super friendly, dedicated and professional in all aspects of nursing care and provided the much needed support to her and the family at this sad time in their lives. Will be ever grateful. Strongly recommended!
The staff are always helpful and happy to answer questions. The quality of food is always good and plentiful. I would like to receive a detailed bill with items charged under sundries.
My father has been a resident of Cedar Park Nursing Home for several weeks now. He has been very poorly throughout that time and has received outstanding care from the staff. Everybody is so patient and caring, I cannot find fault. The care home is beautiful and scrupulously clean, the laundry service is excellent - nothing has been misplaced. All staff are extremely courteous and helpful and I feel my father is very safe. I can, without hesitation, thoroughly recommend Cedar Park.
Our mum was in Cedar Park Nursing Home for end of life care. The care that she received for the short time she was there was 100%. I couldn't fault anything. The staff was also 100%, they just could not do enough for her. Every time I left the home I knew in my own mind Mum would be looked after and in safe hands - thank you everyone for what you did for Mum.
A wonderful care home! Cared for my mum with a terminal cancer diagnosis. Showed professional care for my mum with dignity, respect and kindness. Could not have asked for more!
Generally, a lovely place for my father to be. A beautiful garden, although the paths could be made more user-friendly. Huge rooms with great views. Staff were friendly and helpful. No phone on the floor for resident use, unless they could get to the staff phone and that was corded. Plenty of food which my father enjoyed, although only fruit was with the pudding (that I saw). The manager and admin staff were friendly and helpful and encouraged visitors to participate in celebrations with the residents. Safety was good, each bed had a personal alarm and there was a code to go through the door to the staircase. The nurses were kind and helpful.
