From the moment we walked through the reception doors at Northcare Residential Home, we were immediately impressed. Everywhere is so welcoming and beautifully presented. Every single member of staff we have been in contact with has been wonderful. So professional and caring.
The bedrooms within
Northcare are lovely and always immaculate - we feel it's like 'home from home'.
It's a pleasure to take my mother in law to the Brasserie when we visit and we are always surprised at the offers of delicious home baking and our choice of drinks.
We recently spent a delightful afternoon on the sun terrace, with a lovely glass of Prosecco. All courtesy of Northcare.
When it was her birthday, our family had a wonderful afternoon in the cocktail bar, where a delicious afternoon tea was provided.
Our experience with Northcare has been excellent, the staff keep us continually updated and we feel very reassured knowing my mother in law is being so well cared for in such lovely surroundings.

The facilities are excellent and all of the staff are committed and caring. They know their clients individually and are sensitive to their needs and those of the families. There is a variety of stimulating activities each month that clients are encouraged to attend as their needs allow. All in
all a first class care home.

My mum made the decision to move into a care home, but one that isn't 'like a care home'. We thought we had our work cut out, until we walked into the reception area at Northcare Residences. Immediately met by lovely bright, fresh surroundings and a warm welcome from Angela at the Front Desk. On
returning with mum, she asked how soon she could move in! A very good sign! Sadly mums dementia moved on before a room could be offered to her, however from the first day all the staff greeted her by her first name as if they had already known her, put on an Afternoon Tea to welcome her, and truly made her feel welcome. It does take time for the residents to settle in (especially with dementia causing them confusion) and also for the family members to 'let go' of their duty of care. The staff have shown from the start so much care and understanding, that they are not just there for the resident, but also for the family. Mum has more visitors now than she did at home! Thank you to ALL staff!

I am power of attorney for a gentleman who has no relatives. He unfortunately could no longer stay in his house and therefore moved into Northcare. He is very happy there and receives wonderful care from all of the staff. Would highly recommend.

After a lengthy stay in hospital, our dad arrived at Northcare Stirling in April 2025. He was confused, scared and anxious. On arrival, he was gently welcomed, we were reassured he would settle. Initially we would phone for updates between visits. We soon realised that wasn't necessary, he was being
cared for in the best possible environment. He settled extremely well, and we knew that we had made the best possible care choice for him. It was lovely to see the friendships and interactions develop between dad, fellow residents and staff. He enjoyed visits to the brasserie, and loved the cakes so much!. We cannot praise or thank enough the entire Northcare team for the care given to our dad. Sadly, we lost dad early February 2026, and the dignity and care shown to him and us that day was heartwarmingly appreciated. There was genuine emotion and heartfelt support for us. The most poignant moment was when staff gave dad a wee guard of honour as he left Northcare. Thank you. x

We were very apprehensive about moving my mother in law into a care home in this area. We should never have been, staff are all excellent, nurses, carers, hospitality, housekeeping. Angela and Robert nothing is ever too much trouble. Staff have been proactive with my mother in law's health and
medication, again nothing too much trouble. My mother in law has settled in great. Having worked in adult care myself I would have no issues recommending 100% this fabulous homely home.

Mum moved into Northcare in December 2023 after a long hospital stay, frail and experiencing delirium and early dementia. After visiting all local homes, we chose Northcare not just for its beautiful, hotel-like surroundings, but for the genuine kindness and warmth of the staff. Her room was bright
and comfortable, always immaculately maintained, and filled with personal belongings that made it feel like home. She enjoyed the facilities, activities, and excellent food, and the low staff turnover allowed her to build meaningful relationships.
When Mum became unwell in January, she was cared for with compassion and dignity. Staff sat with her when we could not be there and supported us so we could remain close. She was kept comfortable and peaceful to the end. We are deeply grateful for the care that made her final years safe and happy, and were deeply moved to see staff at her funeral. It was a lovely way to say goodbye.

A daunting prospect of gigantic proportions having to move your husband into a care home, especially when he is very much against the idea.
All of the worries and fears evaporated however when I took my husband to visit Northcare Residences.
His opinions changed on that very first visit and he
moved in shortly afterwards in February 2025. The home is elegantly decorated, both in the public areas and the bedrooms/ensuites and is immaculately clean. Amongst the many amenities on offer there is a brasserie which welcomes residents and their families/friends during the day, a lovely space to use when visiting. Adjacent to this there is also a roof top terrace for use during the finer weather that Scotland is renowned for!
The management and staff are truly welcoming, professional, caring, kind and cheerful. After a recent hospital stay, my husband was actually looking forward to "going home" - Says it all really.

My wife and I and are regular visitors to a resident at Northcare Stirling.
Since our first visit which was more than a year ago, we have been continually impressed by the facilities; the care provided; the attention to detail shown by staff and, most of all, the level of kindness and care shown by
the staff.
I have visited a number of care homes in recent years, and Northcare is head and shoulders above all of them. Indeed, many of my friends have remarked it is more like a luxury hotel than a care home.
It is a credit to the sector in every respect

This care home is just THE absolute BEST care home there is especially in the Stirling area. Myself and my Brother looked around various care homes for my Mum and none came up to this North Care care home's level of exceptional care. They are all friendly staff and dependable. My Mum, despite having
Vascular Dementia, is very very happy there and is totally well looked after so we as her children are very pleased as not an easy job I'm sure. Both reception staff and the manager Robert are lovely, amazing and friendly staff too.

Cannot recommend this home enough, from the minute you walk through the door there is a calm relaxing ambience and welcoming environment. All the staff are friendly and attentive with nothing too much trouble to them. Mum has settled in beautifully and it really is a home from home environment
where her comfort and care is the staffs priority and always at the forefront of their minds. We are indebted to the staff for the kindness and dignity shown in looking after mum and the encouragement and assistance given particularly at mealtimes with exceptional standards of food provided. We are indebted to everyone for making our daily visits and time spent with mum special and memorable in all ways.

We couldn't be happier with the care my mum is receiving at this home. The place itself is beautiful - tastefully decorated, calm, and immaculately clean, which immediately gives a sense of comfort and reassurance.
The staff are truly exceptional. They are warm, friendly, and kind, and it's clear
they genuinely care about the residents. This means so much to us as a family.
The food is of a very high standard, and there is an impressive range of activities every day. Residents are never left sitting idle - there is a wonderful balance of physical exercise, mental stimulation, and social, activities that keep everyone engaged and involved.
Communication has been excellent throughout. The staff keep both myself and my brother fully informed about any health or settling-in matters and always go out of their way to ensure mum is cared for to the highest standard.
We are extremely grateful for the care, professionalism and kindness shown to mum and highly recommend this care home.

Northcare staff facilitated a cinema experience afternoon to allow us to have more family time for what is our relatives first Christmas there. Angela couldn't have been more helpful in the organising process and communication was excellent as always. The staff provided cinema snacks and treats
along with mince pies and coffee for afterwards. They even supplied our fussy 7 year old with his favourite caramel shortbread. This allowed us to let the kids stay and spend more time with loved ones without worrying about them distracting other residents (Xmas is a very excitable time). The care and compassion shown by all staff for our family member puts our minds at ease that she's safe and well supported.

All the staff are very friendly and pleasant as well being helpful and they always talk to you no matter who you are.

My dad was welcomed as a resident in North Care residences at the beginning of the year with an advanced medical condition, which had suddenly changed his plans to live independently with family support. We, his family, were initially anxious and quite fearful for my dad's well-being and future
care.
I can only say that all staff, including the visiting GP, have been incredible throughout. Dad's medical needs are on-going and quite complex and the devotion to getting him the right medical care for his ever changing condition has been truly amazing. Nursing staff always go the extra mile to keep my sister and I informed.
Staff are so kind and attentive - we can tell that they all really know our dad; they "hold his hand" and chat away to him when he needs a little TLC. and treat him with such dignity.
To sum up, at the end of a recent short hospital stay, dad said to our brother that he was looking forward to "getting home to his second family" You can't do better than that.

Excellent accommodation, comfortable cosy environment. What stands out is the lovely staff who are so friendly, helpful and kind. There seems to be alot on offer in terms entertainment, which varies from singers to pets visiting including a donkey. Love going to the bistro, coffee and cake
always good and waiting staff are lovely. It's so nice to have a hairdresser and beautician on site too.

Our friend has been in this Care Home now for 2 years and I have to say the care she is receiving is first class.
I also can't praise the Staff enough for there welcome and lovely manners and kindness that they show not only to there visitors but also to there Residents, and just to put the icing
on the cake we can bring our dog with us and it puts a smile on Residents faces

Generally an excellent Nursing Home. The facilities it offers are in a class of their own. The level of care, compassion and detail are impressive. The Staff are helpful, compassionate and always have time even when they are under time pressure. Communication is excellent at the managerial and
nursing staff/care level. One relatively small comment would be the bedroom size is quite limiting if one is a wheel chair user but it is adequate. Generally my Mum and all the family are very impressed and happy with Northcare Stirling and their hard working staff.

Moving a parent into residential care comes with a huge responsibility to get the best possible outcome. For us it was not about all the extras Northcare provide, and the facilities are excellent. We simply wanted the most comfortable environment for dad and the best possible care for him. We have
not been disappointed.
All staff have gone above and beyond to understand dad's personality, meet his care needs, work out his likes and dislikes, and just make him feel as comfortable as possible.
Staff always have time to update us on how dad is and their feedback comes with genuine warmth and empathy.

I recently moved my father from a different care home to Northgate Care Home in Stirling, and can not emphasise what an amazing move it has been. All the staff from initial meeting them, reception, manager, care staff, nurses, staff nurse, hospitality have been lovely. There is a real focus on care,
dignity, respect and treating the residents as guests. Due to the kindness and care my father transitioned from his old care home to this one with no difficulty and stress free.
The actual decor of the home is beautiful and has been cleverly selected, much of it looks like what our loved ones or their parents would have had in their home which gives a sense of familiarity for the residents.
Any issues, queries are quickly dealt with or answered. Good communication helps to ensure dad is getting the best care.
There is a very good mix of activities on offer and what I like is there is a wide range of physical exercise at different times.
