As a family we cannot praise Llanrhaeadr Hall highly enough. From the day my father moved there he as received the best possible care. Every single member of staff are kind and compassionate towards him and also towards us as his family. We are so grateful that he is looked after in such an incredibly
professional and caring way.

This review is based on 2x 1 hourly visits per week. This is a very good care home, occupying a small/medium country mansion house. The general ambience is very pleasant, and the staff are very friendly. Management are very receptive to any queries I may have. I am very satisfied that my wife is receiving
a good level of care, and I am very appreciative of the hard and at times difficult work of the staff.

The hall staff have been excellent with my Aunt who became a part of the hall community in early August 2024, following a protracted period in hospital. After having to leave her own home in an ambulance to be transported to hospital, she didn't have an opportunity to return there and the hall became
her new home.
The staff have been / are fantastic in creating a homely atmosphere and environment enabling my Aunt to adjust to her changed environment successfully. Staff interaction with residents helps generate an atmoshere of family, which has been vitally important, particularly as no family live locally to the area, and therefore family visits are not easiy able to be achieved. The staff go 'the extra mile' to ensure each resident feels individual care, and encourage participation in a range of differing activities. The hall is comfortable, clean and the decoration is reguarly revamped generating an ongoing freshness to help ensure the residents experience a feeling of improvement.

After living alone and independently for many years my aunt has settled here since August incredibly well. She has no family nearby, but the team have been brilliant at helping her settle in, and find a range of creative activities that she enjoys. She seems to have made good friends in the home, and
has been encouraged to personalise her room, which has it's own facilities and television.
We finally visited in February and were very impressed with the home, which was clean and bright and cheerful. From the outside the home seems quite grand with a long drive and red door which my aunt was quite taken with. The nearby Lodge is a great place to take her out for a coffee or lunch.
The staff we met were all friendly, caring with a sense of humour. It really does seem like a "home" and the staff and residents are like family to her. She seems really happy and settled and we are reassured that she is getting all the support she needs with day to day tasks, and treated with dignity.

Just an example of one day. You can visit anytime, I popped in to see Mum who had not wanted to go into the Home and saw her reclining in the lounge with tea and biscuits getting her feet massaged. She had also had her hair and nails done. We returned to her room which was immaculate and smelled fresh.
All staff say hello and smile.

This is my first visit to Llanrhaeadr Hall and I have to say I'm impressed. The welcome I received from the staff was lovely, the atmosphere was great. Seeing staff with residents was heartwarming, they were made to feel special. My friend, who I was visiting, had had her hair done and was well dressed.
It was obvious she was well cared for. Thank you to all the staff.

Llanrhaeadr Hall is an excellent care home. My mother has been a resident for three years and I regularly drop by to see her. My experience is of an extremely well-managed organisation. It is always welcoming and warm. The care home staff are genuine and really do care.

Llanrhaeadr Hall has been so supportive of my Aunt, and each staff member is so kind and caring. My Aunt has been living independently for over 70 years and now at 90 after a stroke, she is now residing in a very safe environment. Visitors are encouraged and welcome to take her out shopping in town

My mother has been at Llanrhaeadr Hall for five months and has received good care regarding her physical needs, medication and food requirements. She is treated with respect and kindness and will respond to the carer's warm words. The staff are hardworking and seem to work well as a team. My mum's condition
and medical problems have been well managed and we are kept informed of any developments. I found it helpful to label clothes so that they don't get mixed up in the laundry.

My mother was a resident and moved into Llanrhaeadr Hall Care Home in 2020. I felt that she was in the most suitable place for her physical and emotional care.
During my many visits with my mother, I observed that she was adored, happy, extremely well cared for and looked after.
I was having difficulty
getting through to the home to check on her well-being and eventually reached out to the Head Office, and a connection was made within 15 minutes, very efficiently, and also a great example of the professionalism of this organisation.

My mother-in-law was looked after with great friendliness and care for the entire length of her stay. Suffering from Alzheimer's, Mum became a resident of Llanrhaeadr Hall in 2021. As with many families who are devasted when a parent is diagnosed with Alzheimer's and the decision is made to source full residential care for your loved one, your greatest hope is that their final days will be in facility
that is comfortable, clean, homely and staffed by a caring team, we found this in Llanhaeadr Hall. From the management team who were always there with advice or just a shoulder to cry on, the individuals on the unit who cared deeply for Mum showing her much love and tender care, especially in her final days, to the staff in the kitchen for who nothing was too much trouble, I will be eternally grateful to you all.

I joined Roberts Homes in 2020 as the deputy manager, later becoming the register manager in August 2023.


I have worked within the care sector for over 25 years, focusing predominantly in dementia care. I started my care career as a care assistant and have achieved all relevant training and qualifications to become a registered manager.


I am proud to work with a company that encourages and supports staff to progress within their own career.


Working within the care sector is a unique and rewarding experience, one of the most fulfilling aspects of working in the care is the personal connection with individuals and their families.


Working in the care sector is more than just a job, it’s rewarding and requires genuine desire to help others and improve their quality of life.

I am proud to have started my career with Roberts Homes in 2013. They are a company that promotes, supports and encourages development and growth within. I initially started my journey as a night carer before progressing to a senior carer and now the Deputy Manager.


Over the years, I’ve developed a deep passion for delivering person-centred care and supporting individuals living with a diagnosis of dementia.
