Staff are lovely and my mum looks great!! She has put a few pounds on which is not a concern. She has made friends at the home and I'm sure she feels comfortable there. Always a worry when my mum is very much a Welsh speaker but she is doing well. All in all very pleased.

We cannot praise Llanrhaeadr Hall enough. The love and care my Mum received during her short time there was exceptional. Every single staff member goes above and beyond to care for their residents and us as family. The feeling of homliness and love can be felt as soon as you walk in. Just wish Mum
would of had longer there as I truly felt she was safe, loved and cared for so professionally by everyone. Forever grateful.

All the staff are so helpful. You can go into the office and ask for something and its done nothing is to much trouble for them. They are so friendly and polite. Are very professional. Wouldn't have my dad and mam anywhere else.

My Mum has been a resident of Llanrhaeadr Hall since April 2022 and whilst it has been difficult for her to adjust to not living independently, she has received exemplary care from all the staff. Everyone that we have come into contact with has been caring, cheerful and always keen to cater to
every whim or need. They've definitely gone over and above to support her with this transition and make sure she is safe and well looked after, which is peace of mind for us as family. Mum has been able to pick and choose what she does with her day. Despite there being lots of things on offer, she prefers to watch TV or read but she has joined in with garden parties, afternoon teas and the odd quiz. The communal areas and her room are always clean, the washing and ironing (a thankless task!) is done well and her meal requests are accommodated where possible. Can't fault the team or home, which is a really lovely, cosy place with loads of character. Far from the usual clinical environments!

As a family we cannot praise Llanrhaeadr Hall highly enough. From the day my father moved there he as received the best possible care. Every single member of staff are kind and compassionate towards him and also towards us as his family. We are so grateful that he is looked after in such an
incredibly professional and caring way.

This review is based on 2x 1 hourly visits per week. This is a very good care home, occupying a small/medium country mansion house. The general ambience is very pleasant, and the staff are very friendly. Management are very receptive to any queries I may have. I am very satisfied that my wife is
receiving a good level of care, and I am very appreciative of the hard and at times difficult work of the staff.

I am really happy here. Everyone so kind. Nothing is any trouble, if I need anything I only need to ask. We have many a good laugh here (which is a tonic for everyone).

The hall staff have been excellent with my Aunt who became a part of the hall community in early August 2024, following a protracted period in hospital. After having to leave her own home in an ambulance to be transported to hospital, she didn't have an opportunity to return there and the hall
became her new home.
The staff have been / are fantastic in creating a homely atmosphere and environment enabling my Aunt to adjust to her changed environment successfully. Staff interaction with residents helps generate an atmoshere of family, which has been vitally important, particularly as no family live locally to the area, and therefore family visits are not easiy able to be achieved. The staff go 'the extra mile' to ensure each resident feels individual care, and encourage participation in a range of differing activities. The hall is comfortable, clean and the decoration is reguarly revamped generating an ongoing freshness to help ensure the residents experience a feeling of improvement.

After living alone and independently for many years my aunt has settled here since August incredibly well. She has no family nearby, but the team have been brilliant at helping her settle in, and find a range of creative activities that she enjoys. She seems to have made good friends in the home,
and has been encouraged to personalise her room, which has it's own facilities and television.
We finally visited in February and were very impressed with the home, which was clean and bright and cheerful. From the outside the home seems quite grand with a long drive and red door which my aunt was quite taken with. The nearby Lodge is a great place to take her out for a coffee or lunch.
The staff we met were all friendly, caring with a sense of humour. It really does seem like a "home" and the staff and residents are like family to her. She seems really happy and settled and we are reassured that she is getting all the support she needs with day to day tasks, and treated with dignity.

All members of staff are so friendly, attentive, jolly and patient. They really understand my father and his needs whilst showing incredible patience. He is as happy and content as he can be in the care of LH. I have no doubt that LH is the best place he could be from the perspective of his care and
well being given his condition.

Just an example of one day. You can visit anytime, I popped in to see Mum who had not wanted to go into the Home and saw her reclining in the lounge with tea and biscuits getting her feet massaged. She had also had her hair and nails done. We returned to her room which was immaculate and smelled
fresh. All staff say hello and smile.

This is my first visit to Llanrhaeadr Hall and I have to say I'm impressed. The welcome I received from the staff was lovely, the atmosphere was great. Seeing staff with residents was heartwarming, they were made to feel special. My friend, who I was visiting, had had her hair done and was well
dressed. It was obvious she was well cared for. Thank you to all the staff.

Llanrhaeadr Hall is an excellent care home. My mother has been a resident for three years and I regularly drop by to see her. My experience is of an extremely well-managed organisation. It is always welcoming and warm. The care home staff are genuine and really do care.
My mother is happier here
than she was prior to becoming a resident. I cannot praise Llanrhaeadr Hall highly enough. It is warm, friendly, and professional, the food is great and it is a very safe place for the residents.

As a family, we felt totally happy that our mother would be carefully looked after. We have not been disappointed and Mum has been happy. The staff understand her and talk to the residents, this is felt by all. I would recommend Llanrhaeadr Hall to anyone looking for a caring, safe environment for a
loved one.

Llanrhaeadr Hall has been so supportive of my Aunt, and each staff member is so kind and caring. My Aunt has been living independently for over 70 years and now at 90 after a stroke, she is now residing in a very safe environment. Visitors are encouraged and welcome to take her out shopping in town
or to restaurants. Highly recommend this care home.

I have been a resident here for nearly eight years and have been extremely happy. The staff are always very helpful, polite and caring. The room is lovely and cosy, always kept very clean and the food is very nice.

My mother has been at Llanrhaeadr Hall for five months and has received good care regarding her physical needs, medication and food requirements. She is treated with respect and kindness and will respond to the carer's warm words. The staff are hardworking and seem to work well as a team. My mum's
condition and medical problems have been well managed and we are kept informed of any developments. I found it helpful to label clothes so that they don't get mixed up in the laundry.
