All staff at Llanrhaeadr Hall are dedicated to all the service users. My mum loved living in the Hall, she was loved and cared for by all the staff. The staff also are very supportive to all family members. A wonderful care home.

Mum had her last years here. I can not rate the team highly enough, they go over, above and beyond the call of duty. All mum's needs were met at a very high standard. The food is excellent and the cleanliness is one of the best, if not the best. I have to say, it’s the only care home that I have been
into that doesn’t smell and this means a lot. I cannot thank this team enough because not only did they look after my mum, they looked after all the family.

My dad has been in the Hall since December 2022. He has dementia, I am his only family member. Therefore having such an amazing team looking after my dad has given me such reassurance to know he is safe. There is always a warm welcome when I come and visit. They advise me on any concerns they have for
my dad and we discuss what's the best course of action. The peace of mind they allow me is unbelievable. Dad is happy and enjoys the company of the residents and staff. Thank you for all your hard work.

It has been an extremely challenging time for the care home sector. With the shortage of staff due to covid impacts and additional work to support visits and maintain residents' safety. We are very pleased with the way service has been maintained by the team at Llanrhaeadr Hall - well done.

The Manager took mum in when there was a medical emergency in December and she’s been in since.
There is a lovely atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble.
The Manger and the carers are amazing. They do activities with the residents and keep their spirits up. Mum is always spotless as is the nursing
home. I’ve seen a few meals served and they always look and smell delicious.


I couldn’t ask for a kinder Manager or team

My mother has been in the home for several years - firstly as a care resident, latterly in the dementia care unit. She was been well looked after and has been happy. The higher staff/resident ratio has certainly been an asset in the dementia care unit. Living some distance away, visiting has been difficult.
Great efforts were made by the staff to ensure residents had contact with family online. Throughout the pandemic, staff have worked very hard keeping residents safe and well cared for.

My 99-year-old mother-in-law has been a resident in the home for a number of years. She has always expressed her gratitude for the care she had received from staff, has complimented the food and loves the location. As I live some 140-miles away, the staff have always been very accommodating about fitting
my visits in and providing that little extra time for me.

After assisting my mother with numerous viewings of care homes across the county, trying to find the best one, we instantly knew that Llanrheadr Hall was the one for Nain from the get go. She has settled in very well and nothing is ever too much trouble for the team. Nain always talks highly of the
staff and management, they are compassionate, caring and always cater for Nains needs, mentally, physically and emotionally, they are a credit to the care home. Nain always has a smile on her face when visiting and loves talking about the place. Nain's appearance is always clean, tidy and presentable, and they always make sure she keeps up with her regular hair and chiropodist appointments. I'm so happy and at ease knowing she is warm, safe and well cared for. Would highly recommend this care home to anyone looking.

At the end of summer, we decided that mum would be better moving into a Care Home, after multiple viewings of care homes around the area we instantly knew this was the one. Llanrhaeadr Hall is situated at the foot of the beautiful Clwydian Range; and is very convenient for us and friends to visit.
We can visit mum at any time and it's never an issue with booking. During visiting, we are in a warm, comfortable and private area so that we can have quality time together, usually with tea and biscuits. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed. The Home is clean and well organised. Staff and Management are pleasant, friendly and accommodating at all times. I am rest assured that if they had any concerns about mum they would contact me to discuss them. The food is all freshly prepared and mum often tells me how lovely the food is, if for any reason Mum fancied something else to eat the chef would happily accommodate. I would have no hesitation in recommending this fabulous care home to others.

Due to vascular dementia, we decided as a family that Dad would be better placed in a care home environment following the death of our mother in May 2020. We have nothing but praise for the team, in what for us, were very difficult circumstances. He has settled well and nothing is too much trouble for
the team at Llanrhaeadr Hall where his physical and emotional needs are concerned and also for us as a family, due to not being able to visit since he has been there. I would not hesitate in recommending Llanrhaeadr Hall to any family in our situation. First-class team, well done Llan Hall.

Unfortunately due to current restrictions due to COVID, I have only visited once, however, my father-in-law appears well cared for and happy. Staff respond to any issues such as illness and falls promptly. They are compassionate and caring. My father-in-law enjoys the food and seems settled in Llanrdaradr

My mum has lived here for 4 years and is really thriving. Although we are in the middle of this COVID virus, the home have reacted very, very well. I have been able to contact Mum via FaceTime which one of the carers operates. A very caring place to live.

My mother has been a resident at Llanrhaeadr Hall for almost 3 years. She has been happy and well cared for during this time. Her appearance is clean and tidy. She enjoys her food and says 'I'm never hungry!'
The carers are kind and always friendly when I visit, her room is always clean. I live a distance
away from the home. The staff are always helpful and polite when I contact them.

Dad has been a resident for just over 12 months. The staff are so kind and considerate with him. Apart from the amazing care they provide they all have a sense of fun, this keeps him smiling and happy. We always get a warm welcome from all the staff. Amazing place.

After a terrible time in another (now closed) care home, my dad has settled well at Llanrhaeadr Hall. Throughout the pandemic, they have been a godsend providing video calls and on these calls, it's evident that Dad trusts the staff and enjoys their company and cheerful banter. The drive could do with
resurfacing but the home is always clean, warm and inviting and all the staff that I have met are a credit to their profession and go above and beyond for each resident.

My mother has a fabulous room which is very nicely kept.
The home is a beautiful building with lovely grounds to walk in.
It would be even better there is there could be a few more Welsh speakers on the staff but I appreciate this is probably difficult.
The food could be a little bit more varied
perhaps but overall, it is very good.
When someone is ill the staff are extremely good.

Staff are approachable, conscientious and caring. Their patience with residents is immense. The home is clean and the food is of a high standard.
Bedroom furniture (other than bed) could be better. Entrance drive needs re-surfacing.

I am extremely happy with the care that my mother receives in this home. The staff are all lovely and respectful towards my mother. She is very happy here. My only issue is the state of the driveway - this does not encourage families or friends to visit, I'm sure it must be a very uncomfortable drive
in an ambulance.

I joined Roberts Homes in 2020 as the deputy manager, later becoming the register manager in August 2023.


I have worked within the care sector for over 25 years, focusing predominantly in dementia care. I started my care career as a care assistant and have achieved all relevant training and qualifications to become a registered manager.


I am proud to work with a company that encourages and supports staff to progress within their own career.


Working within the care sector is a unique and rewarding experience, one of the most fulfilling aspects of working in the care is the personal connection with individuals and their families.


Working in the care sector is more than just a job, it’s rewarding and requires genuine desire to help others and improve their quality of life.


It’s a privilege to be able to offer support and help make a real and positive difference in their lives.


Llanrhaeadr Hall has a fantastic team who go above and beyond their role to help and support all individuals who require our care and support.


Our team is made up of a diverse group of individuals who each bring their unique background, experiences and knowledge to our service.

I am proud to have started my career with Roberts Homes in 2013. They are a company that promotes, supports and encourages development and growth within. I initially started my journey as a night carer before progressing to a senior carer and now the Deputy Manager.


Over the years, I’ve developed a deep passion for delivering person-centred care and supporting individuals living with a diagnosis of dementia.


My experience as a carer has given me a strong understanding of what it takes to provide high-quality quality compassionate care for the residents with their day-to-day living and how to deliver this in a person-centred, dignified and caring manner.


In my role, I work alongside the registered manager ensuring the daily running of the home, ensuring residents feel safe, valued and respected, and their dignity is maintained by offering support to them, their families and also to our team.
