It's lovely to hear from a resident themselves, how they value the care that staff provide. It also shows that people can make friendships in care homes. Thank you.
I am pleased that this lady and her family feel she is very well cared for and she feels safe and supported in the home. We are not a purpose-built, dementia care facility and staff feel this is reflected in some of the judgements. However, we believe in striving for excellence and will work to improve this result.
Thank you so much. Our vision encompasses providing the right care environment for our residents and our staff. We want residents to enjoy living here and staff to enjoy working here.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We try to create a home from home atmosphere in a respectful and professional manner.

We currently have a room vacant for taster session, respite or long-term care provision.
After school I worked in a local nursing home as a laundry/kitchen assistant. I enjoyed the home environment and went to college to study Health & Social Care Level 3.
After I qualified I started a job as a carer locally but wanted more experience so joined Windsor Lodge when they had a vacancy. First I was a carer and now I am a Senior Carer, as I wanted to take on more responsibilities.
I enjoy supporting staff to provide the best care for all our residentsand on management days I can spend more time with residents to make sure they are happy with the care they receive.
I have worked at Windsor Lodge for 15 years. After working as a receptionist with DHL, I wanted more flexible hours to look after my children, so I started a s a Carer at Windsor Lodge. I love looking after older people assist them in being independent and enjoying life. Then in 2017, an opportunity arose for a part-time activity co-ordinator in the home and I got the job!
I have completed my Level 2 Health & Social Care and Chair-Based Exercise Course.
I love finding out the residents’ hobbies and interests and then tailoring our monthly activity planner to what they want.
