Kitchen Assistant
Location: Elizabeth House Residential Home, Poole, BH12 4PX
Pay rate: £12.30 per hour 
Hours: 30 hours per week (to include alternate weekends)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Elizabeth House, our specialist residential and dementia care home, which overlooks the picturesque Canford Heath Nature Reserve in Poole, Dorset.
 

Who are we looking for:
Previous experience within a kitchen environment is ideal - either way be prepared to be busy in a fast-paced role!
Caring individual with the ability to serve meals and support our residents during mealtimes.
Flexible in the hours that you work and happy to join in as part of our larger kitchen team.

What you will be doing:

• Support the Chef team with the basic preparation of fresh and nutritious meals, snacks & drinks for our residents
• Serve meals from the kitchen to our residents within the dining room area
• Assist with supporting residents with an enjoyable dining experience every day
• Ensuring kitchen and dining room areas are kept hygienic and clean
• Support with washing all cooking appliances and crockery – sanitising all food preparation areas
