Kitchen Assistant - Bank Team 
Location: Buxton House - Weymouth DT4 0QJ  
Pay rate:  £12.30 per hour
Hours: Bank  
We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to join the bank team at Buxton House our purpose-built, friendly, social, residential and dementia care home, located near the historic Jurassic Coast in Weymouth, Dorset.

Previous experience within a kitchen environment is not essential but be prepared to be busy in a fast-paced role.
Caring individual with the ability to support our residents during mealtimes.
Flexible in the hours that you work and happy to join in as part of our larger kitchen team.

What you will be doing:

• Support the Chef team with the basic preparation of fresh and nutritious meals, snacks and drinks for our residents
• Assist with supporting residents with an enjoyable dining experience every day
• Ensuring kitchen and dining room areas are kept hygienic and clean
• Washing all cooking appliances and crockery – sanitising all food preparation areas
