What we needed to know more than anything, was to know that our loved one was safe, cared for and treated as an individual - thats exactly what we have found at Buxton House. We honestly cannot praise the whole team highly enough; Everyone we have encountered has been kind, welcoming and incredibly helpful. Nothing ever seems too much trouble. There is a lovely atmosphere. Residents are engaged and staff seem genuinely interested in the people they care for rather than simply completing tasks. For the first time in months we have been able to come home feeling relieved and reassured, we cannot put a price on that peace of mind. Thanks to everyone at Buxton House, what they do matters enormously not only to the people they care for but to the families that love them.

I began my career with Care South in 2016 as a Care Assistant, and I can honestly say I have never worked for a company so dedicated to encouraging and supporting staff development. With the support of both the Home Manager and the wider organisation, I progressed through the ranks, achieving my Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, which enabled me to take on the role of Care Team Leader.
I was subsequently promoted to Interim Home Manager, and with continued guidance and encouragement from the company and my Manager, I have now successfully completed my Level 5 Leadership in Adult Care. This journey has equipped me with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to effectively support and lead our team here at Buxton House.
Together, as a team, we work in line with our HEART values, ensuring that everyone who comes into the home feels welcome, valued, and supported. At Care South, we pride ourselves on delivering a high standard of care while ensuring that every day is meaningful and enriching for our residents.
