Our experience of Buxton House was that we cannot speak highly enough of all the staff we have had contact with. We found the facilities and surroundings at Buxton House to be excellent.

Buxton House is an excellent choice of a residential Home. Words are not enough to tell the difference the staff made in the short time my father Roger was with them.
Their support, caring, kindness and dedication was beyond measure and will never be forgotton
All staff were truley amazing, and
they should never underestimate the difference they made to my Father and our whole family. My son said "welcome from staff made him feel he was in a hotel"

My mum moved in in September she has settled in and all the staff are lovely and kind. They are very helpful if you have a query about things. Mum is very happy there and had made new friends, which is nice.
I cannot fault it at all.

Caring for another one with their well being who cannot quite do it for themselves anymore is extremely important, tricky, kindhearted, and much more. Within my experience here I have seen the staff perform, care, work in the best caring way, showing such thought and difference there at the Buxton
House I know my Grandad is in wonderful, safe, loving hands having a jolly time with the time he has left. Thank You Everyone at Buxton House and all your efforts!

My experience has been nothing short of amazing. Within just a few short visits, it became clear the level of care is extremely high. All of the staff, at all levels, are absolutely fabulous. It is evident that they all genuinely care about the wellbeing of their residents.

I want to thank all the staff who have cared for my husband during his stay. The care and concern shown by every member of staff has been without fault. There is a warm caring atmosphere throughout the home, and nothing is too much trouble. Many thanks to the manager and the team!

Amazing friendly management and staff.
Dads not been here long but the care is far better than had before. Already showing huge improvent in mental health, also physically with his mobility. Very happy.

Since my sister has been a resident at Buxton House, I have visited on many occasions. I have found the staff very approachable and friendly. I like the interaction I have witnessed between staff and residents whilst there. My sister had to have a procedure at Hospital, which meant the staff needed
to have her up and ready for 6am. She was ready and waiting, which took a good deal of stress away from us, for which I thank them. I have noticed the menu is always on display, and the choices are very varied. My sister's room is very clean, but could do with a refurbishment.
Overall I am very happy with my sister's care.

All the family where heartbroken to see Mum go into a care home, whereas she has been alot more settled with the help of all the staff, their care and activities. This has eased her anxiety which in turn is helping her Dementia journey, and ours.

All the staff are very friendly and helpful and I feel have a genuine care for the residents they look after, I truly believe we could not of found a better care home for our Mum, it was a big decision but definitely the right one.

I was worried when we came to the decision that Mum needed full time care that we could no longer sustain at home with her worsening Vascular Dementia. It was with a heavy heart that we placed Mum at Buxton House, however I cannot speak highly enough of the care she is now receiving there.
Between
my Mums siblings one of us will see her almost everyday and of course she will talk of returning home in the future but always tells us how nice the people are in her 'hotel' !!! She enjoys the food, the activities and the days out they have. Most recently I visited her on Valentines Day and the Events co-ordinators had organised a lunch for residents with one family member able to have a specially set up Valentines meal. Really meant a lot to me to spend those few precious hours with her in such a nicely created setting.

Mum moved in October 2024, from the start she was made to feel very welcome and settled as well as can be expected. I cannot rate the staff highly enough they all know mum and are extremely caring. The activities are good and if she goes to them she does enjoy it although sometimes has to be
persuaded to go. The cleanliness is outstanding, both in her room and general areas. Mum enjoys the food and there is a lot of variation. It's very professionally run and I feel totally reassured knowing mum is there and she is safe, well looked after and happy.

The care and support mum receives is excellent. We are always contacted in cases of any concern to do with mum. Staff are always friendly and make us very welcome. Never had any problems talking to staff about any queries we have had

We were warmly welcome to Buxton House where my dad was given a large, bright, scrupulously clean ensuite bedroom. It is well decorated and furnished and has a warm homely environment. All the staff have shown great care, compassion and understanding of my dad and his needs. He is now well setled
and happy and interacts naturally with the staff and other residents, its lovely to see. The staff have gone to great lengths to give my mum and me lots of support and calm, patient reassurance. About dads day to day care needs, we're both hugely grateful for their professionalism and kindness. I can very confidently recommend Buxton House to anybody requiring dementia care for a loved one.

Staff are always happy and polite. My mother is happy with the kindness of the staff and always says the food is nice and the staff are always friendly. The activities are always welcome as she is a bit of a doer despite having mobility issues.
