Mum was moved to Fairlawn in March 26. She has settled very well, the room is clean, and she has room there to bring her things from home to make it homely for her.
The staff have all been professional and very helpful while we both navigate this change. I feel confident mum is being looked after and
is being kept safe.

Very impressed. The only things were:
- Peter was not told when the clocks changed!
- When he fell and kept saying to the paramedic and myself at 11 PM, "I'm getting out of bed", management said they would give him mattress and chair alarms! Sadly, this didn't happen.
- Not impressed by sponge pudding,
the rest of the food is lovely!!
- Very impressed by all carers and restaurant staff.
- Why is the bar closed on Friday nights? Room 26 was too hot!!
Reply from Rachel Wood, Head of Customer Relations at Kenwith Castle Country House CareThank you for your lovely review and kind comments about our carers and restaurant staff - we truly appreciate your feedback. My Mother in law had a wonderful respite stay at Kenwith over Easter. We were quite anxious about it as she had Alzheimer's and new situations can really throw her.
However the staff at Kenwith did a fabulous job of settling her in and making her feel comfortable and included. She loved the food and
the company.
She's very much looking forward to going back for a holiday again which is so wonderful.
She can't remember much about what happened on her stay due to her memory so a bit of a report on her day to day would be so valuable- then we could talk to her about what she got up to!
We will definitely be using Kenwith again for a future holiday for my mother in law. Thank you to all the staff who cared for her.
Reply from Rachel Wood, Head of Customer Relations at Kenwith Castle Country House CareThank you for your kind review. We're so pleased your mother-in-law enjoyed her Easter stay and that our team helped her feel comfortable and included, especially knowing how challenging new environments can be with Alzheimer's. It's lovely to hear she enjoyed the food and company and is already looking forward to returning. We also appreciate your suggestion about updates and will certainly take this on board.

We look forward to welcoming her back again soon.

My mum has been a resident since August 2024.
She is happy, clean , cared for and loved. Care staff are wonderful with mum and are there if you need to chat and are supportive .
All the stress has been removed as GP , chiropodist, nurse visits, hairdressing visits are organised by care staff.
Mum's
life has improved as has ours the family.
The food for mum is tasty and appetising and you can stay for meals if you ask .
I can honestly say all staff work together to give the best care x

Dorset House has met all our expectations, and we are confident and happy to entrust our ageing father's needs and welfare to the dedicated professional staff, who are an amazing cheerfully friendly team. Dad has grown his confidence back since arriving at Dorset House, and also his waistline with the

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Mum spent 5 weeks at Beauchamp having moved from hospital for end of life care. After a really helpful initial visit Mum arrived & we were made so welcome & there was a wonderful family type atmosphere of caring & concern for the residents. Throughout Mums time the nursing staff & every level of staff
were so professional & responsive to Mums needs as her condition worsened. We could not fault the quality of care love & concern both for Mum & us as family. Mums wishes were properly considered in her care. Mum felt safe & secure in the home & became very fond of the staff. This helped us as relatives to know Mum was happy. The whole atmosphere of the home was life affirming & positive so even though Mum was in her last weeks of life we felt she was still living rather than dying. The nurses managed the final end of life care really well & when Mum died they showed respect & love for her & for us. We will always be indebted to Beauchamp House more than they will ever know.
Reply from Rachel Wood, Head of Customer Relations at Beauchamp Country House CareThank you for your kind and heartfelt words. We are truly honoured to have cared for your mum and to have supported your family during such an important time.
It means so much to hear that she felt safe, happy, and well cared for, and that her wishes were respected. Your appreciation of our team and the atmosphere of the home will mean a great deal to everyone here.

Alexandra House have cared for my mum for the past 5 years. Mum has advanced Alzheimer's and it has been awful for us as a family watching her become a shadow of her former self.
The staff at Alexandra Hse have been amazing, the care and love they show my mum is such a comfort when we are not there.
We have known two Home managers since our time with Caresouth and both have been supportive and caring when dealing with queries and managing mums various health issues. Special mention to Vanessa who is an absolute credit to Caresouth, always there for the residents with a smile and a hug, professional and supportive to families helping both residents and their relatives navigate this heartbreaking disease.
Caresouth provide exceptional care, I would not hesitate to recommend them to others starting this journey.

Although my father with his dementia was reluctant to go in he seemed to settle quickly. His overall health has improved and I am happy that he is now physically safe. His hygiene has improved. Mum moved into Elizabeth House in January for respite care, but she loves it so much she would now like to stay permanently. The change in her has been transformational - she is happier than we have seen her in a long time and has really come out of herself.

When she was living alone, she was lonely,

depressed, and often confused. Since moving into Elizabeth House, she has completely flourished. The staff have been absolutely amazing, the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and most importantly, Mum is very happy there.

My friend moved to TV last November, as her husband had been living there for more than four years.
She always spoke highly of all the staff and couldn't be happier with the care her husband was receiving, so it was just natural for her to move to TV when she needed to. It was like home from home.
My
friend passed away recently. My friend had a good quality of life in her last months. The Care Team at TV didn't just provide physical comfort to her, they also ensured she was emotionally well.
All the time, my friend lived at TV she was treated with dignity and respect, knowing her husband would continue to be treated the same way.

My friend seems contented at Talbot View. The extremely kind staff are patient in their dealings with a man who has dementia, and was in normal life an independent spirit. He delights in the home's gardens, and he loves the food. The music played in the hallway is of one type only, and sadly doesn't
fit with the taste of all residents. My friend was a professional musician and teacher, and likes mid 20th Century jazz and classical music. The laundry can be disappointing, but considering the demands made on it, it's hardly surprising. Talbot View is a very good place to be if you need care.

We're delighted to hear your friend is enjoying the gardens, food, and the care provided by our team. This was truly the best place for my friend Ann to have spent her last 4 years, couldn't have asked for better care. Always greeted with a friendly smile and polite attitude nothing is ever too much trouble. The place is kept extremely clean and well maintained. Ann became an Alexandra House family
member fitting in straight away, Ann had dietary issues and the chef went above and beyond trying to find foods Ann could eat. Alexandra House wouldn't be the kind, caring place it is if it wasn't for all of the people that work there, they fill it with love and compassion..I'm truly thankful that Ann had 4 wonderful years there until her passing in February..

Have felt such warmth for my dad from all the team, settling him in and making him at home. There are so many staff to support him and the team genuinely care. It's taken so much worry away for me know he's safe and well looked after.

The care and support were good. My mother's room was kept very clean, including an ensuite facility. Well managed - the daily activities were well organised and varied. However, we did seem to 'lose' some articles of clothing (+ incontinent pads), not coming back from the laundry.
Reply from Rachel Wood, Head of Customer Relations at WickmeadsThank you for your thoughtful feedback. We're very pleased to hear that you found the care and support to be good, and that your mother's room and ensuite were maintained to a high standard. It's also lovely to know that the daily activities were well organised and provided a good variety.

We're sorry to hear about the issue with some items of clothing and pads not being returned from the laundry. We understand how frustrating this can be and will review our processes to help prevent this from happening in the future. Your comments are valuable in helping us improve, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
