My dad was here for respite care after leaving hospital before he went home. What an amazing place. Everyone was kind and caring, helping him to rebuild his confidence and strength without pushing him. He could not have asked for more - laundry done every day, plenty of activities if he wanted to join
in, comfortable rooms, lots of different areas to go and sit - the list is endless.
If neccessary I wouldn't hesitate to arrange for him to stay again.
Reply from Rachel Wood, Head of Customer Relations at Beauchamp Country House CareThank you so much for your wonderful feedback. We're delighted to hear your dad felt supported, comfortable, and encouraged during his respite stay. Our team works hard to create a caring and uplifting environment, and it means a great deal to know it made a difference to him. We'd be honoured to welcome him back anytime if needed.

My mother was discharged from hospital to the care home on 29/01/26, then suffered an unexpected stroke on 31/01/26 and subsequently died on 03/02/26. During this period I could not have wished for better care, the staff were supportive, sensitive and professional both to my mother and me.
Bearing
in mind her short stay I am unable to comment upon many of the aspects of the home but from my initial inspection it was far superior to any of the other homes i have seen.

From a warm welcome when you enter the care home to the care shown by all members of staff the ambience of the building is all embracing.
The building maintenance is of the highest order, the members of staff are friendly and keen to meet your every need and the nursing care, if required, is of the
highest order. Also, when you enter the building you will see the entertainment team encouraging all the residents to become involved in the games, music or other activities that are occurring.
I would like to express my thanks to all members of staff for all the help and kindness they showed to my mother.
PS Be sure to enjoy the excellent coffee in the lounge.

My mum went into Beauchamp house for roughly 5 weeks and everyone there was fantastic. Mum was very apprehensive about going into a home but once she was there, she wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else. She was well looked after and she couldn't believe that she ended her days in such a "posh gaff".
Can't say thank you enough

I have enjoyed my stay at Beauchamp House
It was very different - but I count my blessings that I am ableto do everything for myself. I would have liked milk and suger on the tables and spoons in the saucers. (at breakfast) I realise staff is at a premium but would have liked Breakfast served a little
quicker.
Staff have been lovely.

My mother has recently become a resident in Beauchamp House.
Their communication with us throughout the whole process has been excellent.
All the staff are very efficient, friendly and obviously want the residents to enjoy living at the home.
They go above and beyond to assist both residents and
their families.
We are very happy with the care Mum is receiving.

The staff at Beauchamp House were all so kind, considerate and friendly yet professional. Mum was able to come into the home quickly and received excellent medical and personal care throughout her short stay. It was such a shame that she was too poorly to enjoy the beautiful grounds and fun activities
as well as the excellent catering that was on offer.

Current Review Score: 9.8 (9.849)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.8 (9.849) out of 10 for Beauchamp Country House Care is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 29 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 29 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.849 for Beauchamp Country House Care is calculated as follows: ( (290 Excellents x 5) + (43 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 337 Ratings = 4.849
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Beauchamp Country House Care is based on 29 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 54 registered maximum number of service users is 10.8, which has been reached with 29 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
