Beauchamp Country House Care

I have been at Beauchamp Country House Care for twelve-day respite care and am very impressed by the kindness of all the staff. Look forward to coming back for another respite stay in October.

We chose Beauchamp Country House Care out of 13 care homes visited and assessed and we were glad we did. Our friend lived there for over 3 years and the care and kindness she received were excellent with many of the staff going above and beyond their duties, especially during the Covid period. The wonderful care and kindness to her and us were invaluable and we cannot thank all the staff for the wonderful care they gave us through the years.

A very positive experience.

My father needed three weeks of respite care as a transition from many weeks in hospital to coming home, and I needed the time to put the care and equipment at home in place. He was treated with respect, dignity and professionalism by all disciplines and valued the care and camaraderie he experienced throughout his time at Beauchamp Country House Care. Management and administration were very helpful, informative, and caring in what was at times a very challenging period. The care was excellent, and the ‘icing on the cake’ was one particular carer’s insistence that no one ever goes home with any item of unwashed clothing on her watch. My wife (a theatre nurse) and I thought the standard of qualified nursing professionalism, care and rapport with my dad was outstanding. Thank you, everyone, at Beauchamp Country House Care!

The was the 13th place I viewed on behalf of my resident, and I knew immediately, it was the one she would be happy and well cared for. Nothing has happened to change my opinion. The staff are caring and have been doing a wonderful job, especially during the Covid situation. I believe my resident is held in real affection by them. She is safe and well cared for here. There are many activities for her to take part in. The recent Jubilee party was excellent.

Thank you for such wonderful care of our mum. You have exceptional staff, kind and caring, and nothing was too much trouble.

A very beautiful place, wonderful gardens, comfortable room and charming, kind and helpful staff. I was there for two weeks of rehab after a hip operation and would gladly recommend Beauchamp House for respite care.

Since my mother has settled into Beauchamp Country House, I have nothing but praise for the home and its dedicated staff. From the moment you walk through the door, it is warm and welcoming, feeling very much like a home from home. The staff are caring and polite, nothing is too much trouble, all questions we may have are always answered. My mother, if she is in her room, is checked on regularly and staff are quick to respond when she needs them, this gives me and my family great peace of mind.

I am very happy with the care my mother has been given. The nurses are wonderful, so caring and kind. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and the gardens are beautiful, kept so tidy.

Wonderful support to my mother and our family from pre-admission to admission and ongoing at all times of day and night. All questions and worries dealt with calmly and professionally. Feel totally supported as a relative and my mother is being cared for very well. Very good communication from staff to me and back again. It has been wonderful to find a home my mother feels content and safe in, that meets her needs physically and mentally and emotionally.

This has not been an easy year! Access to my mother during this period has been limited and when allowed it has not seemed logical. When meeting in fine weather we sat outside the visitor room but we were told we must meet inside. We also seem to have been through a series of managers, which means a lack of continuity. Three different visitor rooms are a waste of money.

My husband has been in Beauchamp Country House Care since November 2020. He has settled well and I am more than happy with the care and attention he has received. The staff keep in touch with me, which is much appreciated. Some of the options below I cannot comment on, as, because of Covid I have been unable to see more than the visitor's room!

In the 3 weeks mum has been in Beauchamp Country House Care she has improved greatly. Everyone we have met has been kind and helpful. Mum seems so much brighter and cheerful on visits.

Mum is looking so much better in just a few weeks she is much more communicative and smiling. Everyone we have dealt with has been caring and friendly. The home itself is peaceful and well maintained and the gardens are lovely and an added bonus.

Throughout dad's stay he has been treated with the utmost dignity and very best care. I have been kept informed of any health concerns at all times and know he feels very safe and well cared for. All staff are extremely welcoming, cheerful and put my father's welfare as a priority, ensuring he is stimulated and encouraged to mobilise and join in activities. Following a recent visit from a G.P, he was tremendously impressed by my fathers care and could see he was treated as if he was their own dad lovely praise, well earned.

My mother has been in Beauchamp House for 4 years and has always been looked after well, but during the last year, the staff have been exceptional and gone the extra mile to ensure safety, kindness and reassurance to my mother. The activities have been stepped up to keep the residents busy, happy and focussed. The girls and boys that look after the residents and our loved ones are wonderful and I know my mum looks on them as family. While we are unable to visit at this time we feel that we are not getting enough updates on our mum's daily health and wellbeing, we feel that we should get new reports weekly to save a phone call.

There is always a high degree of efficiency keeping relatives informed at all material times and much evidence of genuine understanding given to residents throughout their stay. In my opinion, the ethos of the home is to provide high-quality care with the emphasis that it is the "home" of the resident and the staff are there for them, making their transition into care easier and reassuring. Hatch Beauchamp House is a credit to the Care Profession and as family, we consider ourselves most fortunate that our dear family member spent her final years in such a wonderful establishment.

Our experience of Beauchamp House Country Care is entirely positive. There is a calm and pleasant atmosphere on arrival at Beauchamp House. The staff and management are friendly, helpful and always strive to meet our relative's requirements. The meals are lovingly prepared, tasty and there are plenty of choices on offer. Cleanliness is paramount throughout the home at all times. Activities are always great fun and stimulating. Everyone enjoys the singing sessions and the gardens and grounds are immaculate and accessible. Nothing is too much trouble therefore I would not hesitate to recommend Beauchamp House to anyone looking for nursing care for a relative/friend.

Beauchamp Country House is a wonderful place. The staff all care for their patients and nothing is too much trouble. My friend is very, very happy and content with the care that is given to her. I am advised if there is a problem with her and this is swiftly sorted out. I do feel that the patients come first.
