My nan had a TIA. All the staff were all supportive, and I couldn't suggest any improvement in her care. I even complimented all the staff for their help and support in the difficult time. If anyone is looking to put their relative in a care home, you are not making a wrong decision by putting your loved one here!

I couldn't have happier knowing my mum is being cared for by the wonderful people of Marjorie House. Truly the kindest most accommodating people. Mum is the happiest she can be in their trusted care.

Marjorie House is a truly special place. My mother has recently moved in for respite care and our experience of the home, it's facilities, staff and management has been exemplary. Every aspect of admission to the home was expertly handled. The whole process was very smooth, and gave my mum so much reassurance.
All staff go above and beyond for mum every day in all aspects of her life and care requirements. The environment at the home is consistently warm, clean and safe. The food is presented incredibly well, and there is a large selection of activities to take part in.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Marjorie House, and would highly recommend to anyone requiring top quality care. An outstanding home.

I was the 6th resident to "come to life" in Marjorie House early in its role as a care home. Now a year later I would be very sad to have to leave. My experience is beyond what I would have expected, especially as I was taken to six other places who standards were varied with good qualities in many ways. However it was not until I came to Marjorie House did I feel "This is the place I want to live in". Life here is way behind those I saw.

My partner was very poorly with a chest infection, which sadly he was unable to fight off, even though he was prescribed 3 courses of antibiotics by his GP. The care he was given by the wonderful care team at Marjorie House was superb, they were so kind and considerate with him. Nothing was too much trouble. Sadly he passed away on 30th November after 17 days in bed, and the care at the end was wonderful.

Since my aunt came to Marjorie House she knew that was the place for her to live and be cared for. The staff have always looked after my aunt's needs and wishes. Lots of her friends visit and also express how lovely Marjorie House is. Other relatives of my aunt feel the same as me that my aunt is happy where she is.

I was at Marjorie House for 2 weeks as a stepping stone between hospital and home following an operation. I needed a lot of personal care day and night and some nursing expertise. I can honestly say I was sad to leave. All staff were competent and unfailing considerate. The decor of the rooms, communal areas is first class and I was envious of the more mobile residents who would take advantage of the superb location and views over Poole Harbour.

My aunt has been a resident in Marjorie House for over a year and very much calls it home. She is very happy and is well looked after by the wonder care staff. The staff make her feel very welcome and cater to her individual needs whist treating her with dignity and respect. The food is a highlight everyday and the chef makes sure there is always something to entice even those with small appetites. My aunt enjoys the social aspects of living at Marjorie House with a variety of activities and good company from other residents. A wonderful place to live when you can no longer live independently.

My mother settled in remarkably quickly and easily, having been very unhappy at home with live-in carers. The staff have all been so friendly, warm, welcoming and caring. She is getting far more stimulation and entertainment than she was at home. The range of activities is brilliant, including live musicians, cheese and wine tasting and exercise. There are wonderful lounges with beautiful views to sit in.

A beautifully furnished home in a stunning location overlooking Poole Harbour but it's the wonderful, and caring, staff who make Marjorie House what it is. My 90-year-old Mum deserves the very best in what is now her final home. We feel she has it, and more, at Marjorie House and my family can't thank the team enough for their ongoing care and kindness.

I came here straight from Poole Hospital, at a moments notice and the efficiency of the 'management' on duty made it possible for me to be accepted in the evening of Easter sunday. That was excellent because I was not fit or able to look after myself at home. Being here for 2 weeks has been tremendous because all the staff have been so wonderful, helpful, efficient, gracious and charming. I am now very fit and able to go home with safety. Thank you so much to all at Marjorie House - an experience I shall remember with much gratitude and pleasure.

The manager of Marjorie House is amazing, as is all of the team. But the manager travelled for 4 hours in a winter storm to go and personally meet my Dad when we were first thinking of moving my Dad to Poole. It was a big decision to make the move but I am so glad that we did. My Dad was warmly welcomed by all of the team on arrival. He cut the ribbon to his new room and from then on he has been cared for by a team of compassionate, respectful and lovely people. The chef makes his favourite meals, and during December he had a great time joining in the festivities and New Year celebrations. The location is stunning and the facilities are great. If you are looking for a safe, loving home from home for your loved one, please go and see Marjorie House.

I have been a resident in Marjorie House since the day it opened and the staff and food have both been first class.
The home is exceptionally clean and tidy, the decor very pleasing. One great asset at being here is the view of the ever changing sea and area.

A move from independent living into residential care is a momentous and potentially difficult one for anyone. However, from the moment of our initial telephone enquiry, the care, consideration and kindness shown by all the staff at Marjorie House took much of the burden from us. The actual building, outlook and facilities of Marjorie House are without question second to none and much appreciated by us all. However, it is the staff who really make the difference. First and foremost their kindness and understanding show in everything they do. Coupled with their professionalism and knowledge, not to mention enthusiasm, they provide the very best of everything; from carefully prepared meals to stimulating and unusual activities in and away from Marjorie House, as well as the very high standards of personal daily care, they ensure that residents can lead the fullest life possible. Despite a small number of residents at the moment, whenever we go Marjorie House feels full of life and fun. Thank you so much to all the staff for looking after everyone so well and making us all feel so welcome.

It became clear that my aunt was unable to continue her independent living but she was very reluctant to leave her beautiful flat. We visited Marjorie House and very soon we could see that this could be her "home from home". Initially, she came for respite after a fall but has not left since and now is a permanent resident.
The staff are all so lovely and attentive and always seem to know when to intervene and when to just leave her to "get on with her life". The food is fabulous and the room and decor are really 5 stars. To have so many beautiful lounges to sit in and read or chat or frankly enjoy the amazing views is a real bonus. As a family, we feel truly blessed that she has found such a lovely place to live and be looked after in.

If I could award 10 stars I would!
