Oundle Rugby Club was formed in 1976, ORFC is here to promote the fine sport of Rugby Union to all, located near Peterborough

Oundle Rugby Club is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our players, members, and visitors. This role is essential in keeping the clubhouse, changing rooms, and shared facilities in top condition throughout the week and after busy match days.

ABOUT THE CLEANER ROLE

• Clean and sanitise all areas of the clubhouse, including bars, toilets, changing rooms, and communal spaces
• Ensure floors are swept, mopped, or vacuumed as appropriate
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with club and local regulations
• Replenish soap, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies as needed
• Wipe down surfaces, windows, and equipment
• Report any damage, repairs, or maintenance needs to the Club or Facilities Manager
• Maintain high hygiene standards, especially in food and beverage areas
• Support additional cleaning duties after events or match days

ABOUT YOU

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable and punctual
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and post-event shifts

DESIRABLE (Not Essential):

• Experience cleaning in a hospitality, sports, or public facility setting
• Knowledge of health and safety and COSHH regulations
• Familiarity with safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
