9.6 Group Review Score (the average from all locations with a review score)
  • Care Homes Owned by Country Court
Country Court was founded in 1983 with the opening of their first care home, Beech Lodge in Holbeach, Lincolnshire.

The care home’s reputation soon grew, led by kindness, compassion and dignity. A further seven homes were opened by 1990 establishing Country Court as one of the region's most trusted group of care homes. A combination of nursing skills and a professional, yet homely environment, the model for care continued to expand and today Country Court is both caring for and employing thousands of people across the UK.

Through the standard of care and the modern, comfortable homes created for residents, Country Court aspires to provide the kind of care every one of us would wish loved ones to receive. The group operates 41 nursing and care homes and plans to open a further three homes in 2022. It remains a family-run business to this day, with the company philosophy “Our family caring for yours” at the heart of every home.

We knew the day would come when Mum would need 24 hour care and that the only option would be a residential home ,never rested easy with us but when visiting Bateman House we knew she would be in the very best place .
In the short time she has been there ,she has been attended to so well with the staff
,listened too by the chef on her eating needs ,and the food is excellent and now despite being immobile is regularly out and about mixing with fellow residents and enjoying the hair salon in house and wonderful space in the lounges and furniture and décor.
Mun Deserves everything Bateman House has to offer

This is the most wonderful Care Home we could have wished for. Our 99 year old Mum has been so happy in Bateman House which is a 5 Star Care Home with absolutely brilliant, friendly caring staff who have forged a tremendous rapport with Mum and every day Mum says she thinks the world of each and every
member of staff.
The Care Home offers everything a resident could wish for with ultra modern facilities and amenities and high levels of comfort in a relaxed atmosphere.
It is clear from all residents that they all enjoy living at Bateman House which is led by a brilliant Home Manager with wondeful support from all the carers, housekeeping, maintenance, front of house, the wellbeing team and not least wonderful chefs and their kitchen team.
Of course we were apprehensive when Mum arrived at Bateman House but to see her so happy and smiling every day gives us so much pleasure and we are in the knowledge that there is nowhere better to care for Mum than Bateman House in Uttoxeter.
Thank you

What can I say about Baycroft? First thing is 'when can I move in?' It's a shame we have to wait until later in life to really experience Baycroft, when perhaps its not appreciated as much as it should be. When I visit (and also dine in), I can see how attentive the staff are and how residents are cared
for. I also know it's not put on as I visit most days, at different times and different areas of the building. Should the time come for me to need a care home (hopefully not for another forty years or so), I hope I'm as lucky to find (or be placed in) a place as good as that.

I have notice the cleanliness of Mums room could be better, bit of food found under furniture. Having improved labeling off laundry still item are getting lost or misplaced, perhaps it would help if Mums clothes were returned into labeled draws , ie underwater, shirts, trousers (hung in wardrobe).
Mum
also needs more help with personal hygiene routines in mornings and evenings, cleaning dentures etc.
Mum seem to enjoy many of the activities, just needs a little encouragement, always likes the singing.
Overall Mum seem happy at Wallberton she has made new friends, just can not remember their names. She likes the food, when I read the menu it a good variety of meals.
Reply from Vanessa McEveney, Customer Relationship Manager at Walberton Place Care HomeThank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are glad to hear your Mum enjoys the food, activities and is making friends at the home. Thank you for raising these concerns with us, we can now assess the care needs and look at the laundry schedule.

When you enter reception It's like walking into a five star hotel. The reception staff are absolutely fantastic and go way above the reception role.
Mum was made so welcome and all the staff treat her like family and are always on hand for care and friendship.
The rooms are spotlessly clean as are the
rest of the building and it has a really lovely feel to it, bright and relaxing.
The gardens are beautiful with many areas to sit and relax by the lake.
There is nowhere better!
Well done

My mum came to live in the care home 6 weeks ago following a fall. A few days prior I visited the home for advice, every member of staff were helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to help and guide me in to what was unfamiliar territory.
It has been a struggle for my mum settling in to a different
routine, as well as battling her fear of falling again. I can only say that my mum has only met with compassion, support and kindness from everyone at the home, (that includes other residents too) She has been treated with dignity, understanding, a determination to keep her mobile and as independent as she can be.
The home is clean, the facilities are second to none and the food is exceptional.
There is an array of activities on offer, which also include trips out, external entertainers visit also.
I couldn't wish for my mum to be in a better place.

My husband arrived at the Oakview Lodge care home after several months of being in and out of hospital. From the time of arrival he has gradually improved cognitively, able to have a little conversation, enjoying his newspaper and watching some TV. All due to the constant care of the staff, nurses and
carers at the home. His appetite from being non-existent to very poor while in hospital has now improved as well.

My Mum is extremely well looked after at Rose Lodge. Nogi is always extremely friendly and approachable, any concerns are dealt with immediately. All the staff you meet whilst visiting are lovely and all make a fuss of Mum and I.
I am happy to call Rose Lodge my second home.

My husband has resided in Baycroft for just over a year. I find the staff caring and approachable and are able to handle any "situations" with ease. The library is well stocked and there are numerous activities on the go as well as outings for the residents which appear to be well appreciated. The food
is quite varied and appears to suit most palates. Drinks (non alcoholic) are readily available. The Care Home is clean and warm as are the bedrooms. A delightful garden in which to sit in sunny weather, birds to feed and plants to grow in the greenhouse. All in all 100%

Everyone at the care home is friendly and always on hand for any queries or problems. My uncle has settled in very well. The nurses are very attentive and inform me of any problems or just to ask if a certain treatment is ok to do. I'm very pleased with how my uncle has been looked after and would recommend
this care home to others.

The team at Links Home have been incredibly caring and supportive. It's clear that the strong leadership at the top sets the tone for everything they do. That positive example filters down through the whole team and shows in the way residents and families are treated every day.
The management team
together with care staff are very supportive . They are warm, approachable, and genuinely committed to the people in their care. Whenever I've needed specific assistance or had questions, they've been extremely helpful and quick to respond. Their support has made a "'real" difference.
The staff have always treated my aunt with kindness and respect, and most importantly, she is happy at the home. That means everything to us as a family. As I'm not always in town, it's reassuring to know that the team are responsive and keep me informed when needed.
I'm very grateful for the care my aunt receives and truly pleased with the way she is looked after
