I viewed Pemberley Manor care home prior to my mum having a Permanent residential placement there. On the day I viewed, there was an immediate sense that I had found the right place, a comfortable warmth from entering and meeting the receptionist to meeting other staff members and being shown around
and discussing my mothers potential care there.
My mum settled in, became very comfortable, had gained weight, her mobility improved, she was always having a good laugh with the staff, all of this in under a month and then very sadly and unexpectedly she passed away at rest. I truly believe that she had reached a place of rest and that her mind and body were ready and I would like to say that this was all down to Pemberleys care and consideration which went above and beyond. Thank you so much.
Reply from Lauren Digby, Customer Relations Manager at Pemberley Manor Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share your heartfelt experience. We are deeply touched by your kind words about your mum's time at Pemberley Manor. It was truly our privilege to care for her and to get to know both her and your family. We're so glad to hear that she felt comfortable, happy, and at ease during her stay, that means the world to us. Our team always strives to provide warmth, dignity, and genuine companionship to every resident, and knowing that this brought comfort to your mum and your family is incredibly meaningful. Please accept our sincerest condolences for your loss. Your mum will be fondly remembered by all of us here at Pemberley Manor. Thank you again for your trust and kind words.

What a fabulous care home this is !
At the most recent relatives' meeting held by the Manager on 23rd Sept 2025 , not only were relatives updated generally about Pemberley Manor , we were also informed about the newest NHS research regarding dietary changes which can help reduce falls in elderly people
by fifty per cent .
Just look at that for a totally professional and forward thinking outlook for this amazing care home under its new management.
Total reasons for celebrating the fine example and exacting standards Pemberley Manor is setting for itself - congrats!
All the staff are totally dedicated , have excellent awareness and are committed within their roles - such a joy to experience.
My mother is totally settled and happy at Pemberley Manor , making it an utter relief for the family. A thousand thanks to you all .
Reply from Lauren Digby, Customer Relations Manager at Pemberley Manor Care HomeThank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. We are absolutely delighted to hear how positively you feel about Pemberley Manor and the care your mother is receiving with us. It's wonderful to know that you found the recent relatives' meeting informative and forward thinking. We're proud to be part of a care community that not only supports our residents with compassion and professionalism, but also stays informed by the latest research, like the recent NHS findings on nutrition and fall prevention, to continually enhance our care. Your recognition of our dedicated team means a great deal. Each member of staff works with commitment and heart, and feedback like yours is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. Most of all, we're so pleased that your mother is settled and happy here, that is the highest praise we could hope for. Thank you again for your generous words and support. We're honoured to have your trust.

Our sister has been a resident for 8 months. She has settled well into the care home routine and is feeling confident enough now to start enjoying venturing further afield with the Activities & Entertainments Teams.
The Management Team are very approachable by email, telephone or face-to-face meetings
and update as often as we require.
We visit Link House very regularly and irrespective of who is on duty in Reception, in the Kitchen, on Nurse or Carer rota on her floor we are welcomed and invited to join in with whatever is going on.
Her bedroom is always clean and tidy as is she and we are very pleased with our experiences of Link House to date.

My husband has been a resident at Pemberley since 10th June 2025. He is on the advanced dementia floor. Since he has been there after a difficult start he is beginning to settle. He is eating and put on weight. The carers are very good with him and know his needs. Overall I'm very happy with Pemberley
and especially the carers.

My mum stayed at Pemberley Manor Care Home for two weeks of respite care and we were really impressed. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, which made her feel very welcome. The rooms are lovely, (more like a hotel than a care home), and she really enjoyed the food. Everywhere is spotless
and there's a beautiful garden to sit in. When mum was poorly, the team went above and beyond to make sure she got the medical care she needed. Mum had a great experience and we'd happily recommend Pemberley Manor.

Pemberley Manor Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Mum has just returned home from respite care at Pemburly Manor. After lots of research and looking at several homes in the local area, it was quite obvious as soon as I went in that this was the one. It was spotlessly clean and quite luxurious. Most of mum's visitors expressed that it was more like
a 5 star hotel. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful, answering any queries or concerns that we had. Whilst mum was in there, the carers were all very professional and so kind and caring and able to meet her needs, whilst at the same time showing respect and giving thought to her dignity. In my opinion the CQC inspection on Pemburly is completely inaccurate and can only think that this was done a while ago and needs to be updated asap, to give a true reflection on how wonderful this carehome actually is.
Reply from Lauren Digby, Customer Relations Manager at Pemberley Manor Care HomeThank you so much for your kind words. We're delighted to hear that your mum had a positive experience during her respite stay at Pemberley Manor. It's wonderful to know that our clean, welcoming, and homely environment stood out to you and your mum's visitors, we love hearing it felt like a 5 star hotel! Our team is passionate about delivering care that is both professional and deeply respectful, so your recognition of their kindness and attentiveness means a great deal. We also appreciate your comments about the CQC report. We believe it's important for inspections to reflect the current standard of care, and we're committed to ongoing excellence in everything we do. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback. It was a pleasure to care for your mum, and we wish her and your family all the very best
