I was greeted by an experienced, knowledgeable lady who showed me round with all the necessary information. When I arrived here, I have found everyone has been kind, friendly, and very efficient. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The food is excellent, and general help that I need is extremely
satisfactory. I find the manager and senior staff very efficient, hard working and dedicated - my whole experience so far has been brilliant.

Ellen has been very professional, helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Margaret, the manager, has helped me.
The home is beautiful and clean, the staff are friendly, made my dad settle in, he feels at home, the food is lovely, Ellen has made all this possible.

My mother-in-law came for respite following a fall at home. The staff were absolutely wonderful with her, very kind and caring, and concerned about her health in general. Her room was lovely, she loved it.

My Dad was at Shenstone Court initially for respite care. He has since decided he wishes to be a permanent resident. The care provided by the whole team has been outstanding. The staff have taken time to get to know Dad and made him feel comfortable from the start. They have also advised us as a
family regarding his health and acted appropriately informing us of any concerns/actions for which we are grateful. His room is beautifully decorated and welcoming which has made him feel very comfortable. He enjoys the daily activities interacting with the other residents, and is full of praise of all the meals provided. He equally enjoys time in the evening is his room to watch films on tv and listen to the radio and read his newspaper. As a family we are extremely grateful that the staff have made Dad feel so welcome and taken the time to get to know him and engage him into the community at Shenstone Court.

When visiting Shenstone Court we are usually greeted warmly by your friendly, efficient receptionist who seems to know and genuinely care for all the residents and their visitors. The care staff are always attentive, kind, and patient, and nothing is ever too much trouble. They take the time to get
to know the residents, ensuring everyone feels valued, comfortable, and well looked after at all times. Importantly, they are always approachable and open to any questions or concerns.
The home itself has a very relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and is always spotless, tidy, and well-maintained.
The meals provided are well-prepared and well presented. It's good to see residents enjoying their food, with menus that cater to different tastes.
The home ensures that the residents are stimulated and encourage them to join in with the activities provided, including trips.
I would recommend Shenstone Court to anyone looking for a safe and supportive environment for their loved one.

My Dad became a resident at Shenstone Court initially for a respite period. He has vascular dementia. I am extremely happy with the excellent care that Dad receives here. All of the staff have taken time to get to know my Dad and his interests. His room is spotless, he is always clean, shaven and wearing
clean clothes. From the moment he arrived the team took time to know exactly what his care needs were understanding the importance of routine for someone with Dad's diagnosis. All the staff are kind, friendly and approachable. Dad's friends have been made to feel very welcome when they have visited. The residents have the opportunity to take part in lots of activities. I feel that Dad is well stimulated and most importantly he is happy. We have decided that the level of care he receives here is so good that Dad is happy to make Shenstone Court his new permanent home.

I can't say enough nice things about this home and particularly the management. They are the loveliest staff team you could ever meet. My aunt and I have been visiting my uncle in the home for over 18 months now and we now feel like family. The home manager is amazing shes so professional but so fair
and robust in her approach, she will have your back when needed. The rest of the staff from the care team, the cleaners, and everyone are so friendly and approachable. My uncles care is second to none, yes there's been a few small issues but once you raise them they are dealt with straight away if you go to the right people. Overall im so glad my we chose this home for my uncle.

Having to place my dad in residential care following a long stay in hospital, was a daunting prospect. With help and assistance we were introduced to Heartlands.
Although, out of the areas choice, my dad was lucky enough to get a placement here.
I have seen and been to many care homes, but none
come near to Heartlands care provision staff team and general ambience of the environment. It is top class and is a place I would live in. You have to see it to believe it. Thank you so much.

This has been our first experience of using a care home and my goodness we have been so very impressed. All the staff from the cheerful housekeepers all the way through to the professional yet approachable managers, have made everyday a pleasurable and happy experience. The staff's attentiveness is
admirable. The surroundings are beautiful and my father's room suits his every need and the meals are delicious and beautifully served.

This is my Dad's second visit to Shenstone Court Care Home. It's a lovely home, modern, clean and the staff are approachable, friendly, attentive and very caring. The food is varied and excellent. Visitors are treated great and can visit anytime all week. We have enjoyed some meals with Dad which makes
for a great visit. Other clients are friendly and love it when we take the great grandchildren and our dog to visit. I recommend having a look and considering Shenstone home. My dad is looked after, happy and safe. The family are very happy to have found such a great place.

My father-in-law as been in Heartlands Nursing Home for a good few months, he is well cared for and the staff are very caring and reassuring, previous to this time his wife was in there only very short time but same again. Very good care by carer's and senior care to even housekeepers to everyone. Even
gone above and beyond video calling his son in Australia for him to talk to. This home is excellent.

Again, this care home has shown such dedication and support not just to its residents, but to the relatives too.
Communication is key at Shenstone Court, keeping relatives informed of any issues that may have occurred so that relatives still feel involved in the care and decision-making of their loved
ones.
Residents are taken on visits by minibus weekly; even if only one or two residents are going. I'm sure it can be soul-destroying for staff when they have tried so hard to encourage and get residents ready, only for the resident to change their minds but they do it with a smile.
Throughout the year, the home has decorated the reception area for Halloween, and Alzheimer's Day. Even decorated my mom's zimmer frame with a purple ribbon which was just so lovely and inclusive. I could write something every month, to be honest about this amazing care home. If you're looking for a special home to look after your relative, I would totally recommend Shenstone Care Home. Well done everybody!
