From first visit to Bateman House the attention to detail and care for residents was easy to see, which is why mum chose them to look after her and keep her safe. Move in day was seamless, the support was simply brilliant from the whole team, nothing was too much trouble and Mum was made to feel at home very quickly. Over the following days the team have been curious to understand what mum likes and needs, when I saw mum on day 3 she said she has not felt this safe and comfortable for a long time, that just makes me feel so happy and I know mum is in a good place. Each time I visit I am made to feel like I am walking into my mums home and my well-being is check on also, simply brilliant.

Management are the best, she has help us in ways no one ever has, we feel so welcome.

Bateman House is a lovely location with warm and friendly staff. My Grandmother is very happy and taken care of there. On my visits I have felt welcomed and seen my grandma in high spirits often telling stories of the nice people, fun trips and regular cups of tea.

Very welcoming and caring environment. Staff can't do enough. The home is expanding so some lovely new care staff and front of house. Some great activities have been organised lately. We enjoy having Sunday lunch there as a family too .

Bateman House is a lovely Care Home with excellent modern facilities for the time my husband has been there he has been treated extremely well, and have to say all the staff are kind, considerate and caring I couldn't wish for anything more. My husband is safe and very well looked after.

The staff are kind and caring, 24 hrs a day, as I need a lot of help during the night as well as during the day.

I'm very happy with Batemans Care Home. My Dad is very settled when he goes for respite. The activities and outings are fantastic, even though Dad has Dementia he's still very sociable and really enjoys being involved in all the activities. The rooms are lovely - comfortable and incredibly clean. More like a hotel than a care home. And the staff are attentive and genuinely care and really get to know their residents. I would definitely recommend.

Bateman House has been excellent in looking after my partners father. Initially on respite care for 6 weeks my partner has decided to make this permanent. What we both like about Bateman House are the lovely staff, beautiful rooms, indoor, outdoor spaces and the very good extra activities to keep residents occupied and interested. The home is effectively and professionally run. Staff are approachable, kind and nothing is too much trouble for them. We feel that our relative is in safe hands here.

I would like to share my experiences and with my dealings with 'Bateman House' located in Uttoxeter. They have excelled in every aspect , from outstanding care and support , overall hygiene, the accommodation , delicious menu choices , entertainment and the security and safety of all the residents is 2nd to none. All members of staff are so approachable at all times , which is so reassuring when you have a 92 year old mother residing there. The management team are so professional and ultra responsive at all times and so helpful. Having said all of that ,a special mention must go out to Erica, the 'Care Home Manager' . She has been an absolute delight to deal with, from the very beginning, and leads and manages her team by example, at all times. I would have no hesitation whatsoever, in recommending Erica and her team at 'Bateman House' .

A largely positive experience, exceeding expectations. With an uncle who's very particular, the staff have helped him relax & settle into an enjoyable stay. We started initially with respite care and now full time resident.

It is a very difficult decision to leave your home and move into a care home not only for the person themselves but also those around them. However, at 93 and with mum losing her eyesight we all knew she could not remain at home alone. Various options were considered including home care or residential care. We visited several homes, but immediately mum and I entered Bateman House it felt right, more homely. Mum immediately said on leaving if I am to leave home, I want to go there. We arranged a four-week trial period but after two weeks mum had decided she wanted to stay. All the staff from the carers, kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, front of house and not least the wellbeing team have looked after mum so well and she cannot praise them enough. I have also got to know them all and would like to say how grateful I am to every one of them for making a difficult and challenging transition so smooth. Thank you.

An exceptionally well appointed care home, the facilities are excellent and far exceed those of every other home I have visited. Mum first went for a respite visit and has stayed there. The events organised and trips are excellent too and the staff team are always welcoming and helpful.

There are lots of places for the residents to get together as a group or to enjoy some quiet time for themselves and guests. The availability of a private dining room to host small gatherings with family and friends was particularly impressive.
