On the night of my mother passing. It was my 1st visit to this nursing home. The staff were friendly and supportive after my mother passing

I am a regular visitor to Baycroft and have been for the last two years. I feel like the staff are family, everyone polite and caring, they all know me by name now. The range of activities are amazing, there is always something going on be it games or musical entertainment. The staff are very helpful and a constant smile, if I have any concerns they are always there to take note and help wherever they can. Keep up the great work!

We were looking for a care home for my mum, who has dementia. We were looking for a home that was purpose built, with facilities that would help her remain safe & well looked after. Baycroft has been a god send! Staff are friendly, caring & attentive. Rooms are clean & tidy (don't smell) food is a focus with lots of variety & the entertainment team are always up to something to stimulate residents. Excellent home!

The facilities are excellent throughout and the equipment is modern.The individual bedrooms and bathrooms are maintained to the highest standard. There is a daily programme of activities which serves to keep the patients involved. I have always felt welcome on my frequent visits to my wife and never made to feel that I was in the way.

My mother has been a resident since January 2026 primarily as respite but now permanently. It was a stressful time for all the family involved including my mum. All staff were incredibly supportive during the transition period and my mother is now extremely well settled and in a content and happy place. Initially, she did not partake in social activities and tended to stay in her room. Staff have sensitively encouraged her to join in and she can now be found in the Bistro area and restaurant. Excellent care with dedicated staff.

My husband transferred here from another care home. The transition was extremely well managed. The facilities are beautiful but more importantly the care is good and staff seem well trained. They are friendly and welcoming. I get the impression most have been there quite some time and are happy in their work. The atmosphere is calm and professional at all times. The food is beautifully presented and dining rooms well set out. The home is very clean and well maintained. Cannot fault it.

Communication is excellent, the team keeps me updated regarding medical appointments and always seeks my consent for any changes to her care needs. A special mention to Liz, Portia and Mikey for their dedication and professionalism. Also the receptionists who are always warm and welcoming. We are extremely happy we choose Fernleigh Court. Fairfield Manor is a fantastic modern care home. All members of staff from top to bottom are caring& friendly making you feel welcome. The car and compassion they show is exceptional. The home is spotlessly clean throughout. Food is excellent with each persons diet unique to them. The welfare team work tirelessly to provide activities for all residents including trips out. Could not praise them enough for the care they gave my wife who had dementia.

All of the staff are extremely helpful and caring towards my grandad and he feels extremely at home staying here :) He is cared for very well.

Baycroft have gone out of there way to help my mum to settle in her new environment. All of the staff are kind and extremely respectful. The whole building is extremely clean and the individual rooms are lovely. After a tricky start Mum has settled really well and is happy at Baycroft. The facilities are really good not only for the residents but for visiting friends and family.

We arranged a respite stay for my mum, who has dementia, and are now very happy to make it permanent. The staff are absolutely amazing. Every single person, from reception & housekeeping to the carers, nurses & management team, have been incredibly friendly, kind & helpful. They genuinely go above & beyond to make residents feel comfortable & well cared for. My mum is looked after so well and has everything she needs. The facilities are fantastic, especially the bistro. There's always something going on which keeps residents engaged & happy. Most importantly, my mum has settled in really well, which gives us huge peace of mind, we couldn't be more grateful to the entire team.

We never know what is in store for us as we get older, but knowing that Fairfield Manor exists and being so thankful for the wonderful staff that work there, means I can spend time with my dad and know he's in the best place!

I cannot speak highly enough of this fantastic care home. From the moment you walk in, the environment feels clean, modern, and deeply homely. The staff are brilliant, attentive, and consistently go the extra mile for the residents. My friend has settled in well and is looked after with the utmost respect and compassion.
