His mental health and quality of life has improved and he is once again enjoying life. Really impressed with the staff who are very kind, know everyone's name and always know where we can find him. The facilities really contribute to his wellbeing.He benefits from being able to access different spaces around the building, whether that is scrabble in the pub, a coffee in the cafe, painting in the activity room or a quiet chat in a lounge.

Whilst there are areas of Somerset which might look a little tired, they are going through a huge programme of updating. My mums room is one of the new ones and it is fabulous, light and airy with an en suite bathroom which is perfect for her needs.

They have been very supportive of my mum, as it has taken a while for her to settle in the new environment and they understand the needs and challenges of people with dementia.

I have given 4 stars for mums room which is a little tired as is the old part of the home, but this is in hand with the renovations in progress, so I am sure it will be a 5 when all completed. The new extension and facilities look amazing.
