My Dad became a resident at Shenstone Court initially for a respite period. He has vascular dementia. I am extremely happy with the excellent care that Dad receives here. All of the staff have taken time to get to know my Dad and his interests. His room is spotless, he is always clean, shaven and wearing
clean clothes. From the moment he arrived the team took time to know exactly what his care needs were understanding the importance of routine for someone with Dad's diagnosis. All the staff are kind, friendly and approachable. Dad's friends have been made to feel very welcome when they have visited. The residents have the opportunity to take part in lots of activities. I feel that Dad is well stimulated and most importantly he is happy. We have decided that the level of care he receives here is so good that Dad is happy to make Shenstone Court his new permanent home.

This has been our first experience of using a care home and my goodness we have been so very impressed. All the staff from the cheerful housekeepers all the way through to the professional yet approachable managers, have made everyday a pleasurable and happy experience. The staff's attentiveness is
admirable. The surroundings are beautiful and my father's room suits his every need and the meals are delicious and beautifully served.

This is my Dad's second visit to Shenstone Court Care Home. It's a lovely home, modern, clean and the staff are approachable, friendly, attentive and very caring. The food is varied and excellent. Visitors are treated great and can visit anytime all week. We have enjoyed some meals with Dad which makes
for a great visit. Other clients are friendly and love it when we take the great grandchildren and our dog to visit. I recommend having a look and considering Shenstone home. My dad is looked after, happy and safe. The family are very happy to have found such a great place.

Again, this care home has shown such dedication and support not just to its residents, but to the relatives too.
Communication is key at Shenstone Court, keeping relatives informed of any issues that may have occurred so that relatives still feel involved in the care and decision-making of their loved
ones.
Residents are taken on visits by minibus weekly; even if only one or two residents are going. I'm sure it can be soul-destroying for staff when they have tried so hard to encourage and get residents ready, only for the resident to change their minds but they do it with a smile.
Throughout the year, the home has decorated the reception area for Halloween, and Alzheimer's Day. Even decorated my mom's zimmer frame with a purple ribbon which was just so lovely and inclusive. I could write something every month, to be honest about this amazing care home. If you're looking for a special home to look after your relative, I would totally recommend Shenstone Care Home. Well done everybody!

Mum was safely cared for which enabled me to enjoy my holiday without worry for her wellbeing. She was treated with respect and humour and always seen as an individual with her own interests, likes and dislikes.
Oh, yes and they made a great cup of tea!

As soon as I walked through the door, I knew this was the place for my Mum. The staff are friendly as if I have known them for years. I was kept informed all the way to when my Mum moved in. It's made easy for me. Definitely will recommend it.

My mum came to Shenstone Court in August after a stay in hospital. Mum has Pulmonary Fibrosis so she is on permanent oxygen. The stay was an initial 2-week respite stay but Mum very quickly felt at home and realised the level of care she now requires. We cannot praise the care highly enough- truly superb.
The carers have all made such huge efforts to welcome Mum, care for her needs both emotionally and physically, and get to know her on a personal level. This is so important to Mum. They chat with her and share their own lives and experiences and Mum loves this. She has got to know them all and adores every single one. Her bedroom is so well equipped and beautifully furnished. They care and attend to everything. Food is amazing- Mum had lost her appetite due to her illness and the breadth and variety of options have reignited her enjoyment in eating. The carers eat alongside their residents, encouraging them to eat in the dining room whenever they can. Excellent in every way.

My Mother came here for respite care and I can only say that everything was excellent from start the finish. The team are all incredibly friendly and professional. The building is well thought out and immaculately kept and the little touches make it feel like home. The food was great and nothing was
too much trouble if something different was wanted. The biggest thing for me was how they treated each resident as an individual, each with their own story
We were sad to say goodbye. Thank you team - we hope to be back soon.

Beautiful surroundings, like being on an expensive cruise. Excellent food, staff are very helpful and very friendly. A real home from home. Highly recommended. If you're looking for luxury you won't be disappointed.
