I can't say enough good things about Tallington. My Step Father was admitted to the dementia unit towards the end of April. Getting him settled has been handled with care, compassion and kindness. They have gone out of their way to understand what things he may like to do and tailored his activities accordingly. Additionally, they have helped us to adjust to and navigate the transition with timely advice and a concern for our welfare. Very happy that he is being so well looked after by people who care.
Thank you very much for your kind words and taking the time to review our home. We are so pleased to hear that you're happy with the care our team are providing. Best Wishes, Morgan.
From the intake evaluation through to ongoing daily care, the staff at Tallington has been outstanding. They are caring, engaging and always available for our questions and updates. The facility is warm, comfortable and immaculately clean, creating a wonderful "home" environment for its residents. Furthermore, the staff take great pride in knowing and interacting with the residents, including engaging daily activities. We could not have hoped for a better place for our loved one.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review, we are so pleased to hear your lovely comments about us. Best Wishes, Natalie,
My dad stayed at Tallington Lodge care home and we were very pleased with the care he received. The staff were excellent - always friendly, kind and genuinely caring. I looked round many care homes in the area and Tallington stood out from the rest. Its a warm and welcoming place and we felt reassured knowing he was in such good hands. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone looking for a safe and compassionate place for a loved one.
Thank you for taking time out to review our home. I am so pleased to read your wonderful comments about our home, care and team. I will share with everyone. Best Wishes, Natalie.
Overal we think Tallington is an exceptional care home. We would like to have more activites aimed at the male residents.
Thank you for your wonderful review. I will ensure we speak with our wellbeing team to come to speak with you to discuss some thoughts and suggestions for us to encorporate into our wellbeing programme. Best Wishes, Morgan
We could not ask for anything better. Over the past 18 months our Aunty has experienced excellent care from all staff, nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is like a high class hotel. Lots of activities to keep residents entertained and exercises to help with movement and balance. The staff are excellent in keeping us informed of any change of circumstances, they are always positive and friendly.
Thank you so much for your kind review, we are so pleased to hear your Aunt is enjoying life with us at Tallington Lodge and yourself and the family are happy. Best Wishes, Morgan

They then very quickly decided (within days) that they would like to stay permanently as they were happy!
Life at Tallington Lodge is like living in a very comfortable hotel; the staff are wonderful, very welcoming and friendly and the care is amazing. Family members can dine with their relatives to make the most of visits, and there's a 'cafe' area where you can get a hot or cold drink, which adds to the homely atmosphere. There's also a courtyard with seating and raised beds which my mum loves to potter in.
Home from home!
I am kept up to date with the care plans and any other needs or problems, and am as involved as I want to be in all aspects of their care.
I would heartily recommend Tallington Lodge Care Home.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us at Tallington Lodge. We are delighted to read your wonderful comments and are so pleased your mother and stepfather are enjoying life at Tallington Lodge. Best Wishes, Morgan
In the time that Mum has been at Tallington Lodge, she has blossomed. It is not unusual for her to enjoy a joke or even a little sing song with the team which has brought a smile back to her face. Every physical need is taken care of and the genuine interactions with all staff have enabled Mum to enjoy a quality of life we were unable to provide for her in her own home. We know that Mum receives quality care day and night and that she is safe. We couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

My father spent two week here whilst waiting for care package at home. The staff welcomed Dad with open arms, he felt safe, cared for and had people to talk too. He was eating and drinking, given medication on time. I cannot expressed how much we wish he could stay or maybe one day return here. He also wishes he could stay, he already misses everyone.
Thank you for taking your time to review Tallington Lodge. We are so pleased to hear your father enjoyed your stay with us and you're all more than welcome to pop to see us anytime. Best Wishes, Morgan
My mother has been here for nearly a year. Every time I see her she says how she is so well looked after and how nice everyone is. She's happy! So I am! Personally I have seen how hard the staff work, constantly cleaning, always talking to residents with respect. For me there is always a very warm reception and anything I ask for for mum is done and accomodated.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your review for Tallington Lodge Care Home and leaving your feedback for the service and care provided for your Mother-in-law. Your comments will be shared with the staff team. Warm regards,
Although my mother is very frail and rarely leaves her room, the carers are always keen to help her with daily needs. This also applies to the other staff - cleaners, catering, front of house, laundry and activities - who all take an active interest in the residents.
Senior carers and management are always ready to discuss issues and health matters when required. The home liaises well with the local GP practice and other NHS services.
I have always thought Tallington Lodge to be a good care home, but with the arrival of the new manager earlier this year, I now consider it to be excellent.
Thank you for taking the time to review Tallington Lodge. We are so pleased to hear your wonderful comments about us. Best Wishes, Natalie.
The new manager is a gift from heaven. She is always visible, approachful and helpful. She is a good listener and problem solver. Efficient, honest and friendly and has built a good team around her. Priority is the care, comfort and happiness of the residents and putting protocols in place to achieve this.
Thank you for taking your time to leave us a review at Tallington Lodge. I will be sure to share the wonderful comments with the rest of the team. Best Wishes, Morgan
My Mother was a resident for 2 years and was always treated with respect and kindness. Her room was always clean and smelt fresh. She especially enjoyed the food and we were impressed that the chef knew all her favourite dishes. Having extra living space and an in-house cafe was a marvellous as it meant visitors didn't have to sit in her bedroom. The outside garden and courtyard are excellent spaces that we all enjoyed. I would certainly recommend.
Thank you for taking your time to review Tallington Lodge. We are delighted to hear your wonderful comments. I will share with the rest of our team. Best Wishes
