Fully refurbished and extended Tallington Lodge care home provides the highest standards of care and support in a luxury environment. Situated in the Lincolnshire village of Tallington, family value-led residential and dementia care is provided in a beautiful village setting. Close to the market towns of Stamford, Bourne & Market Deeping, Tallington Lodge Care Home is one of Country Court Care's purpose-built homes with luxury facilities for residents.

The care home has been purpose-built and sympathetically designed to blend in with the local area, the original features of the 19th-century rectory have been retained to give the home a unique and homely feel.

The highly-trained care team provides residential care, specialist dementia care, and short-term respite care, tailored to individual needs and requirements. Staff get to know residents and their families individually to provide a wide range of daily activities to cater for all preferences.

Residents enjoy reminiscing, gardening, music and singing, gentle exercise and regular trips around the local area. Ground floor superior rooms featuring patio doors leading out onto their own sitting area. Such a nice place, the quality of the home is excellent. The staff are always attentive and helpful. From the small amount of time I have spent there seeing my nan, I am so happy that I know she is being looked after so well.

My review refers to the whole period of my mother's residence, almost 18-months, and continuing.


Our mother has been most happy from the outset and continues to enjoy living at this attractive and well-designed home, providing a stimulating and cheerful atmosphere to all and a broad range of important

facilities and amenities for living in later life.


It truly benefits from a most dedicated team of staff who each day demonstrate their commitment to the varying personal requirements and individual wishes of residents, and who also work together to provide a complete and restful 'home-life to all living there. Some qualified medical staff are on hand too as an important part of the care and medical regime. This all gives confidence to our mother and our family, who know she is well looked after.


The home is to be congratulated for its robust and successful efforts in managing the well being of residents during the ongoing pandemic.

Beautiful home with a very caring staff. My mum has been very happy here over the last 6-years. Lots of activities for the resident's, something new every week. It is a very friendly but very professional home and always greeted by the staff with a smile. As my mum is now 94, she has become a little
unwell recently, but the care she has received is second to none, and if I need an update on my mum's wellbeing, a senior carer is always available. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home, if my mum is happy, then her family are.

General care, cleanliness, food and support is excellent with very caring staff. It's the little things. For example, servicing of wheeled walker found to be in an unsafe condition, lack of checking that Mum has her hearing aids and glasses (she has dementia and cannot remember that she needs to wear
them).

Mum was concerned and worried when told she was to be transferred to Tallington Lodge. She had images of sad old people, bad food and impatient carers in her head - her preconception of a 'care home'. Those images were dispelled immediately on arrival. The building is modern with a cared-for exterior
- a good first impression - but ultimately it's what's on the inside that counts. She was welcomed upon arrival by staff, then shown to the room that would be her temporary home for the next few weeks. A beautiful room, tastefully decorated and homely. She settled in to begin her convalescence. The most important element in a care home is the staff - definitely the jewel in Tallington's crown; so caring and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Managers, daily care staff, kitchen and laundry staff, they were all lovely, even when Mum got a bit snappy due to pain, side effects of strong medication or not quite getting to the toilet in time, she was always made to feel it was okay - the staff were always kind and caring. I'm pleased to say Mum is well on the way to getting back to full functional capacity but we will always be grateful for the wonderful care she received at Tallington Lodge. Thank you.

The staff at Tallington Care Home are second to none. They really did support and care for my dad during his respite. Dad was very scared about going into respite but after a few hours there he was really enjoying himself and was really enjoying his staff. Whenever I rang Tallington Care Home they were
very familiar with dad's needs and gave me a full update. Staff provide brilliant activities which they shared on Facebook which gave me a lot of reassurance as we were not allowed to visit due to coronavirus.
I cannot praise all the staff enough. Big thank you.

Tallington Lodge is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. I really don’t know what I would have done without them. A big thank you to all carers and staff who are taking great care of my mother who has been a resident since March 2019. They have all been outstanding, especially throughout this

I would highly recommend Tallington Lodge Care Home. The care and attention they give is excellent.
Over the last few months, I have had no concerns about the care residents have received,
I am so pleased I transferred my husband to Tallington before lockdown. Grateful thanks from me and my family.

Happiness. The smiles from all staff are like sunshine and blue skies. Their devotion to duty is beyond measure. Young people, mothers of families all care for us as if we were their own. Young men also devoted to duty. They are all ace.

My mum went to Tallington Lodge for respite care whilst we were away. I was nervous as it was the first time we had left her but, all the staff made it such an easy process.
She got involved with all the baking, knitting and the craft club. It was lovely seeing her so content. We would definitely take

I honestly can't fault the attention and care that my father receives. All the staff are so friendly and if there are any concerns, they do not hesitate to notify me.

I had two weeks stay at Tallington Lodge. All the staff are wonderful. They are marvellous and I feel better and I am going home now but will come back when I need a break. I miss them all.

My husband has been at Tallington on respite recently due to ill health. He wasn't happy with the prospect of staying in a care home but we were very surprised by Tallington and its luxury facilities. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We are going to come back in to use the lovely
cafe in the future to see the friends that my husband has made whilst in the home. Thank you to Tallington, it feels more like a hotel break than a care home stay.

Mum has been here for respite for 2 weeks to give her husband a rest and to decorate the kitchen. The staff have been very supportive and understanding to the residents and their families. Mum has enjoyed her stay and the staff said they will miss her.

The care home looks recently refurbished. Decor is light and tasteful. My father likes the food and how he is treated by all the staff. Staff seem to have the knowledge and patience required and are friendly, attentive and empathetic. My father has improved socially and with his dress standards since

The whole of the family has been relieved by the ease with which Mum's respite stay transitioned into a permanent basis. Her needs and sometimes perplexing communications have been addressed. The staff skills are beyond expectations and the home provides respectful care with a lot of laughter.
