We could not ask for anything better. Over the past 18 months our Aunty has experienced excellent care from all staff, nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is like a high class hotel. Lots of activities to keep residents entertained and exercises to help with movement and balance. The
staff are excellent in keeping us informed of any change of circumstances, they are always positive and friendly.

Always a pleasure to come to Tallington Lodge to visit my grandad, David. The staff are always super friendly. The food was lovely and the hospitality very welcoming.

We had a lovely time visiting our grandad and eating lunch. The home was clean, and the food at the railway inn was very tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful (esp Sanots)

My mum and stepfather arrived at Tallington Lodge Care Home at very short notice for a much needed respite stay.
They then very quickly decided (within days) that they would like to stay permanently as they were happy!
Life at Tallington Lodge is like living in a very comfortable hotel; the
staff are wonderful, very welcoming and friendly and the care is amazing. Family members can dine with their relatives to make the most of visits, and there's a 'cafe' area where you can get a hot or cold drink, which adds to the homely atmosphere. There's also a courtyard with seating and raised beds which my mum loves to potter in.
Home from home!
I am kept up to date with the care plans and any other needs or problems, and am as involved as I want to be in all aspects of their care.
I would heartily recommend Tallington Lodge Care Home.

In the time that Mum has been at Tallington Lodge, she has blossomed. It is not unusual for her to enjoy a joke or even a little sing song with the team which has brought a smile back to her face. Every physical need is taken care of and the genuine interactions with all staff have enabled Mum to
enjoy a quality of life we were unable to provide for her in her own home. We know that Mum receives quality care day and night and that she is safe. We couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

My Mother moved into Tallington Lodge earlier this year after a spell in hospital following a Stroke. The facilities and staff at Tallington are superb. Mum always comments on how well looked after she is and how she feels like royalty. The staff are excellent; they are so caring and nothing is ever
to much trouble for them. Her room is lovely, really spacious with a small patio area outside her back door. The food is amazing, such good quality. Mum hasn't looked as well as she does since moving to Tallington in years.
I can't recommend Tallington highly enough.

My father spent two week here whilst waiting for care package at home. The staff welcomed Dad with open arms, he felt safe, cared for and had people to talk too. He was eating and drinking, given medication on time. I cannot expressed how much we wish he could stay or maybe one day return here. He
also wishes he could stay, he already misses everyone.

My mother has been here for nearly a year. Every time I see her she says how she is so well looked after and how nice everyone is. She's happy! So I am! Personally I have seen how hard the staff work, constantly cleaning, always talking to residents with respect. For me there is always a very warm
reception and anything I ask for for mum is done and accomodated.

My mother has been a resident at Tallington Lodge for over four years. This is a well-designed home, with spacious public spaces and comfortable rooms for each resident. The food is good, the laundry is done carefully and to a high standard and her room is kept clean on a daily basis. This is a very
friendly place.
Although my mother is very frail and rarely leaves her room, the carers are always keen to help her with daily needs. This also applies to the other staff - cleaners, catering, front of house, laundry and activities - who all take an active interest in the residents.
Senior carers and management are always ready to discuss issues and health matters when required. The home liaises well with the local GP practice and other NHS services.
I have always thought Tallington Lodge to be a good care home, but with the arrival of the new manager earlier this year, I now consider it to be excellent.

The new manager is a gift from heaven. She is always visible, approachful and helpful. She is a good listener and problem solver. Efficient, honest and friendly and has built a good team around her. Priority is the care, comfort and happiness of the residents and putting protocols in place to
achieve this.

My Mother was a resident for 2 years and was always treated with respect and kindness. Her room was always clean and smelt fresh. She especially enjoyed the food and we were impressed that the chef knew all her favourite dishes. Having extra living space and an in-house cafe was a marvellous as it
meant visitors didn't have to sit in her bedroom. The outside garden and courtyard are excellent spaces that we all enjoyed. I would certainly recommend.

I felt I just had to send you this email to express our thanks and gratitude to the wonderful staff at Tallington. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate Mum's special birthday on Saturday. They are all a credit to the home, especially one staff member in particular, whose eye for detail is
second to none. We were given the use of the "pub" upstairs, the staff had decorated it in birthday bunting etc, which I had bought in. The little buffet prepared by the kitchen was absolutely delicious. The staff member kept popping in to ensure we were all OK and even rallied other members of staff to come in and sing "Happy Birthday" to Mum with a beautiful cake. We were honestly blown away, and Mum had a wonderful time. Please would you forward our thanks to all involved. Kind regards.

This is a wonderful clean, comfortable, extremely friendly care home. I am so glad my father-in-law has a room here. It is so delightful to see pictures of local landmarks especially as we have a railway interest. Food is excellent and it was wonderful to have a family celebration here with personal
care and attention. The ambience here is unique and long may these standards be maintained. Thank you.

My mother ended up going to Tallington for four weeks respite after breaking her leg. From start to finish the care was excellent and we were kept updated at all times. Very impressed with the quality of care and having visited a few in the area it was far superior in its facilities and general
upkeeping.

My mother recently had her 90th Birthday. The help to organise a get together was outstanding, so much help and attention to detail, etc. Thank you, Tallington Lodge, for making Mum's day so special.
Especially care staff, service manager, receptionist, chef, activities lady and catering staff.
