My mother was admitted to Fenchurch House in early January 2026 after mobility issues meant that she could not longer function in her house. From day one, the level of welcoming care and attention that she received, was outstanding. She had a beautiful room with an en suite and the 24/7 support that she required, was always provided promptly and with compassion, a friendly word, or smile and humour, which she appreciated. There were many activities to take part in and she always enjoyed them, including game's, art projects, regular sing along karaoke's, as well as lot's of special celebration days for different events, like Easter, Birthday's, Mother's Day, along with the weekly coffee morning drop in's, for family and friends. She received prompt medical attention whenever she needed it and the food prepared on site, was always excellent. She has had nothing but positive experiences during her time there.
Thank you so much Mike for your kind words. As you know, your Mother was adored by us all and it was our pleasure to have had the opportunity to have cared for her. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review which will be passed onto the Home Manager to share with all of the team in Fenchurch.
The staff are very knowledgeable and understanding and the facilities and food are excellent.
Would definitely recommend this carehome!
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review, we are extremely grateful for the feedback and will share your kind words with the team! We hope to see you and your Father again in the future!
It is heartwarming to see a care home that is run like a 5 star hotel where the staff love their jobs and take pride in the home's achievements - Frenchurch is one big happy family.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review Lorraine! Can you believe Mum has been with us for more than two years! She has certainly become a part of the family, as have you all. We are so pleased to be caring for her and thrilled to have been a part of her special day.
On our first visit to be shown around felt as though we had walked into a 5 star hotel. And on every visit since mum became a resident always greeted by all the staff with a smile and greeting. Always spotlessly clean. Lots of activities and entertainment for residents and family and friends invited on special days throughout the diary. Mum is so happy. Loves her room which is clean, spacious and encouraged to bring items from home. Mums appetite has returned not surprisingly as the food looks and smells delicious! Any concerns we are welcomed to chat to the appropriate staff who immediately help. Facilities ie cinema craft room garden patios bistro pub room family lounge beautiful residents lounges all 5 star! I noticed how happy the residents are and in turn delights family knowing our loved ones are enjoying the rest of their lives. I cannot praise ALL the staff enough. Who also love their jobs which is shown on their faces. 5 STAR ALL THE WAY! Thank you xxx
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review! Providing a high standard of service is very important to us, and we're grateful for your recognition. We will share your kind words with the team and look forward to Mum continuing to settle in and become a part of our family here in Fenchurch.
My resident sister loves Fenchurch, as do I. The staff are so welcoming and professional. The care providedis far and beyond. I can't say enough good things about this place. We are happy to recommend it to anybody looking. The team doing the entertainment are brilliant. One happy family.
Thank you so much for your kind feedback which we will share with our team. We certainly are one big family at Fenchurch and we are delighted that you and your sister are a part of it.
The welcome that my wife and I receive on our visits is genuinely very warm, and when we share a meal, as we did on Boxing Day, the food is very good.
Thank you so much for your feedback Phil - It is our pleasure to have cared for your Mum for as long as we have. She (and you all) are an extension of our family.
I couldn't recommend this lovely place higher. As they are always so helpful and polite. They take so much care to make sure that my farther is looked after really well and indeed make sure we are all treated well. The place is so clean it's like a hotel.
Thank you for your feedback Tim - If there are areas of improvement which you would like to discuss please don't hesitate to contact our Home Manager who would welcome an opportunity to review your ratings.
All staff are approachable & know all the residents.
Rooms are lovely, clean and kept tidy. Such a wonderful home with lovely gardens and decor is outstanding.
A brilliant, kind, patient hairdresser - pampering for the ladies and gents looking good too.
I was so grateful for the care given to my step mum & how kind and considerate each and every one of the staff were. Thank you to the family of Fenchurch.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We will share your kind words with the team. Please do keep in touch!
Today I visited my sister, and she was out on a trip to the local garden centre, her second trip of the week! As I walked around with her, down to the ground floor, all the staff spoke to her using her name, which was lovely. Her room had been cleaned and tidied on her return. My sister has been transformed, she is smiling, happy and content. The staff told me they call her 'smiles'. Such a lovely environment and the expertise of the carers has made this happen. She and I are so grateful to be a part of the 'Fenchurch family'.
Thank you so much for your kind words which we will share with the team during our morning meeting. Both yourself and your sister have indeed become a part of our family and we hope to continue to support you for many years to come.
My dad was a resident at Fenchurch House Care Home from June 2024 to February 2025. The care given to dad was outstanding - all of the staff were very kind and caring and always had a smile and a friendly word for everyone. Dad settled in better than anyone could expect and I believe this is a testament to the whole staff team at Fenchurch. As a family we were confident in knowing that he was being well looked after as the Fenchurch family became an extension of our own.
As dad's needs changed, his care was seamlessly amended to incorporate anything he found he needed more help with. The support from the team at Fenchurch for our mum and the rest of the family was second to none, there was always someone we could talk to at any time of the day or night. I would have no hesitation whatsoever to recommend Fenchurch and would like to think if I need care in the future I could be cared for by the team at Fenchurch.
Thank you so much for your kind feedback, it was our pleasure to have cared for your very dear late Father. We would welcome your feedback at any time regarding how you feel that the Management could perhaps improve based on your rating, the door is always open to receive feedback in order to further support us to strive for improvement. We hope to keep in touch with you and your family.
Fenchurch is a fabulous place, it is more than just a care home, it is an actual "home" for the residents. The facilities are excellent, but even better than that are the staff, who are quite superb. My Father has been a resident there for just over a year (he's 97) and we value the care provided so much, that his sister has now moved in as well, both are extremely well looked after and couldn't be happier, it's a great place.
Thank you so much for your kind words. Your Father has settled in far better than we could have expected in the last year and to have his Sister join him has meant so much to us as a family owned business. It truly is our family caring for yours! We will endeavour to pass on your kind words to the staff team here at Fenchurch.
My mum has been cared for in 2 previous care environments during the past 7 years. During this time period, I have never witnessed such high standards of care that mum is currently receiving. The manager and staff are just so accommodating on every level. The kindness and consideration and care there I have witnessed in the past 7 weeks has brought tears to my eyes. After each visit, I leave feeling very content, knowing that mum is being cared for in the best possible way. I have found the care staff so attentive, professional and always so well informed of mums requirements. I am always able to receive relevant updates on mum's health and well-being daily. Exceptional in so many ways.
Thank you so much for your kind words, which we will share with all of the team here at Fenchurch. It is a pleasure to support your mum here, and she has very quickly become a part of our family.
Every time I visit I am very impressed with the care and respect shown towards my sister. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. It was my sister's birthday today and it was made so special for her, with a cake, gifts, decorations etc. She became unwell briefly, the alarm raised, the response was immediate, and dealt with efficiently and calmly. My sister always tells me she is very happy at Fenchurch and it really is an exceptional care home.
Thank you for your kind words it is our pleasure to care for your family member. We will pass your feedback onto the team to remind them what a fantastic job they are doing.
We are eternally grateful for the love and care given to my beloved wife during her stay. Her illness was an emotional roller coaster that was easier to bear with the support and friendship we received from the Fenchurch family. We were impressed and moved by the compassion and dedication of all the staff thought and particularly in her final weeks.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It was entirely our pleasure to have had the opportunity to care for your beloved wife.
She had an amazing time joining in all the activities: singing, bingo, knitting and many more.
I would highly recommend this care home, it's beautiful. The staff are lovely and went above and beyond to make her stay just perfect.
We were able to go away knowing she had the best care.
Thank you so much for your feedback, we were so very pleased that you were able to enjoy your time away while Mum was having a wonderful time with her newfound friends made in Fenchurch! We hope to see Mum again in the New Year.
A lovely care home-like hotel. The staff are great, especially the well-being team. Keep all the residents occupied with mental and physical stimulation. One criticism the home managers never seem to stay long - residents just get used to them then they leave. Management needs to appoint someone with a familiar face who has been working there for a while.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We would like to invite you in to meet with our Home Manager to discuss the areas of poor marking further. We are proud that our internal progression opportunities offer progressive roles however do take on board the recent changes. Three of our...
My elderly mother has had to make the difficult emotional transition from living at home with care, to needing a full residential placement.
From the day she arrived, she was welcomed and treated with kindness and respect.
Not only are the facilities, food and nursing care to the highest standard, my mother is treated so kindly by all the staff - most importantly, she is safe and happy.
Thank you so much for your kind feedback, it is our absolute pleasure to care for your mum, we are thrilled at how quickly she appears to have settled in and become a part of the family... all over again! Best wishes
All the staff I have encountered have been very upbeat, approachable, friendly and very caring towards the residents. It is lovely to see how the Activities Team get so involved with the residents, singing and dancing with everyone, encouraging creativity, and bringing joy to everyone. My mother-in-law seems very happy and at home at Fenchurch and this is testament to the level of care she is receiving. Thank you all for taking such good care of her.
Thank you for your kind feedback which we will pass on to the hard-working care team at Fenchurch.
The quality of individual care provided by the whole team at Fenchurch is truly exceptional. Everyone's kindness and care has helped Mum settle in and find joy in new activities and making new friends. A huge thank you to the team for everything you do every day as it makes a huge difference to both the residents and their families. Thank you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your kind feedback. It is our absolute pleasure to care for your mum. We wish her many more happy years with us in her new chapter.
My mind is at ease knowing he is being well looked after. All the staff we have met are lovely, caring and kind, nothing is too much trouble for them, they always have time to chat and listen to any concerns we might have. I really can’t say enough about this amazing care home and all the people that work there. The staff go above and beyond to make life as comfortable and happy as it can be for all the residents.
Thank you so much for your kind words which we will share with the team! It has been our wholehearted pleasure to watch your beloved Dad flourish in the last few weeks. We hope sincerely to continue caring for your Dad and making new memories for months and years to come. Best wishes from us all at Fenchurch!
