9.6 Group Review Score (the average from all locations with a review score)
  • Care Homes Owned by Country Court
Country Court was founded in 1983 with the opening of their first care home, Beech Lodge in Holbeach, Lincolnshire.

The care home’s reputation soon grew, led by kindness, compassion and dignity. A further seven homes were opened by 1990 establishing Country Court as one of the region's most trusted group of care homes. A combination of nursing skills and a professional, yet homely environment, the model for care continued to expand and today Country Court is both caring for and employing thousands of people across the UK.

Through the standard of care and the modern, comfortable homes created for residents, Country Court aspires to provide the kind of care every one of us would wish loved ones to receive. The group operates 41 nursing and care homes and plans to open a further three homes in 2022. It remains a family-run business to this day, with the company philosophy “Our family caring for yours” at the heart of every home.

I cannot praise Fernleigh Court high enough! From the first day we brought my mother into Fernleigh, we were made to feel at home. My mother's care is second to none. She came to Fernleigh under respite care for one month and was eager to be going home, but after two weeks, she wants to stay permanently.
The staff, care workers, managment are excellent. Big shout out to Letsy and Portia who go above and beyond.

Lyncroft Care Home

from Rebecca E (Niece of Resident) published on 9 February 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
This care home is exceptional. I'm a Paramedic and therefore go into different care homes all the time. When I was informed that my Aunt was going to be placed in a care home I was anxious as to which one she would be allocated. I can honestly say this home is above my expectations of what I had hoped
for. It's like a 5 star hotel!!
All staff are very attentive to her needs and treat her with care and compassion and respect her wishes and autonomy. The staff are always so friendly not only to residents but also to any guests, any requests we have had they try their best to accommodate.
The standard of cleanliness is excellent, every time I visit some form of house keeping is taking place.
All aspects of this home are superb but I think its the entertainment team that has impressed me the most, they put on so many different activities and events that keep residents engaged, its been wonderful seeing my Aunt laugh and have fun.
Reply from Hannah Louise Mills, Senior Customer Relations Manager at Lyncroft Care HomeThank you so much for your kind feedback Rebecca which we will absolutely share with all of the teams within the home, including the housekeeping and wellbeing teams. They will be thrilled that their hard work has been so highly recognised. It is our pleasure to care for your Aunt and we hope that she continues to be comfortable with us!

I came with my wife Ann who has Parkinsons on respite care for 4 weeks and we stayed in a double room.
We have had a joyful experience made so by the staff and the ambience of the home which is beautiful and spacious. All our needs were met by friendly caring staff, nothing was too much trouble.
The
home offered a high level of comfort and a relaxed atmosphere, the banter between residents and staff was lovely to be part of.
The care given to residents by staff during the day and night was excellant and reassuring. We would certainly consider another visit for respite care in the future

Stanton Court Care & Nursing Home

from Deb G (Daughter of Resident) published on 5 February 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Mum only had a very short time at Stanton Court before she had a serious stroke and subsequently passed away. Our biggest regret was that we didn't manage to get Mum to Stanton Court earlier as without a doubt, it was the best place for her. The staff were ALL so welcoming and kind to Mum and to the
family particularly in her last week. It made a sad occasion much more bearable. The food was amazing!
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Stanton Court to anyone who was looking for a care/nursing home for either permanent or respite stays.
Reply from Laura Whiteway, Home Administrator at Stanton Court Care & Nursing HomeThank you for your very kind words. It was a pleasure to care for your Mum, albeit for a short time. The staff at Birkin Lodge provided thoughtful care for my mother in her final years. The atmosphere was calm and friendly. Communication was excellent. The food was good. Thank you to all for making her so comfortable.

Mum was at Somerset House on a short respite stay. She was very happy during her time there. The staff were lovely, and very responsive to her needs. She was happy to come home, but has expressed a desire to return if needed in the future. Overall a very positive experience. Thank you.

Staff very pleasant helpful and respectful, I told the manager he should be very proud of his staff and he runs a lovely care home. I am not a family member I used to look after the resident prior to him being in the care home. I took him out for a coffee and cake.

Night staff took long time to respond and he wet the bed several times which was very upsetting. Night staff were often unfriendly and impatient. Support we expected for night wasn't there. Lack of bars in shower area, perching stool in bathroom would be useful, chair provided was not suitable, Lack
of support for Parkinson's issues, mobility has deteriorated badly since his stay, Brien was deregistered from our GP by Baycroft which caused problem when back home plus pharmacy for repeat meds was changed and not returned to normal pharmacy. On the plus side, daytime staff were helpful and friendly. The building was always warm and clean. Reception staff during the weekdays were very approachable and helpful.
Reply from Holly Wilson, Home Manager at Baycroft Flitwick Care HomeThank you for your feedback. Brian was a pleasure to have with us, and we wish you both all the best.

Please be assured that all concerns raised are taken seriously and will be reviewed by management. Our team follows guidance from the Parkinson's nurse, and respite residents are registered with our GP and pharmacy to ensure timely medical support and medication.

We are committed to providing the best possible care and value all feedback as an opportunity to improve. Should you wish to speak with our Home Manager Holly Wilson further please contact her on 01525 307 665

We could not ask for anything better. Over the past 18 months our Aunty has experienced excellent care from all staff, nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation is like a high class hotel. Lots of activities to keep residents entertained and exercises to help with movement and balance. The staff
are excellent in keeping us informed of any change of circumstances, they are always positive and friendly.
Reply from Morgan Hicks, Senior Customer Relations Manager at Tallington Lodge Care HomeThank you so much for your kind review, we are so pleased to hear your Aunt is enjoying life with us at Tallington Lodge and yourself and the family are happy. Best Wishes, Morgan
