Lyncroft Care Home

All aspects of this home are superb but I think its the entertainment team that has impressed me the most, they put on so many different activities and events that keep residents engaged, its been wonderful seeing my Aunt laugh and have fun.

All the staff are very welcoming and friendly and understand my mum's needs and make sure she has everything she needs to make her comfortable and content

Just been in to visit my great auntie as i live in Australia and dont get to see her much and i must say what a lovely afternoon it's been the entertainment was brilliant the staff was attentive all dancing along with them and making sure everyone had a hot drink. My aunties room was lovely and clean. It was lovely to see Clair as the manger after all these years, she's doing a fantastic job.

Unfortunately my mum is bedridden and struggles to communicate but the staff at Lyncroft take the time to get her out of bed whenever they can and include her in any suitable activities. She is very well cared for and all staff are very respectful towards her. I could not be happier with the care she receives there.

My mother was in the care of Lyncroft for three and a half years. She was always happy with her standard of care and for that, we are eternally grateful. The fact that she was confined to bed for most of that time and never suffered from bed sores is a testament to how well she was cared for. All staff members were attentive to her needs. I was well informed of any medical or personal requirements.

The care, attention and love that has been given to our family member has been without fault. We are so pleased that we were given a place at Lyncroft we could not be more pleased. We feel this is just like home and know that she is in excellent hands, also the care the family receives. Thank you so much.

On visiting my long-term friend I have found the staff very welcoming and friendly. Communication very good and informative. Rooms very clean and everything seems to be well-organised. Activities for residents are excellent. Although I understand staff are very busy, I would like to see more interaction with individual residents. Otherwise I can't fault the care home.

My 20 months experience of Lyncroft, as a visitor to a resident, has demonstrated that the home is exceptionally well-managed. The home presents a safe, welcoming, warm and light environment with stylish, contemporary furnishing throughout. The themed areas situated around the home present perfect opportunities for residents and visitors to reminisce. The bistro and lounges are particularly attractive environments for residents and visitors to meet away from their rooms. Managers and staff are friendly, compassionate and professional in all situations, always very approachable.

After a bad fall in December 2022, it was decided my brother needed to move into a care home. In February 2023, he moved into Lyncroft, and the improvement in his health is down to the 24/7 care by the dedicated staff. He is now fit enough to engage in all of the activities and even helps out in the lovely garden. He loves trips to the cinema, plus other visits out. We take our dog (Cindy) to visit and this is really good for everyone. Thank you to everyone at Lyncroft for your dedication and hard work; you really are appreciated. Thanks again.

Lyncroft is a beautiful care home set within beautiful gardens. It is decorated and furnished to a very high standard. All staff are very polite and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. My mum has been a resident for over 3 years and it's so nice to know that she is being cared for by such professional and caring staff. They have fantastic events which families are welcome to attend, and lots of activities for the residents to participate in if they wish to. I would recommend this great home to family and friends and feel so lucky that my mum is able to live in the beautiful home.

Lyncroft is a lovely caring home. The staff of all duties are very friendly, helpful and always on hand when you need them. Haven't got any problems or worries at all with Mum's care, and room, all meals are really good and look really nice. Lyncroft is a top-rated care home run by excellent staff. Well done to you all.

I cannot recommend Lyncroft Care Home, Wisbech enough. From day one my mother-in-law was made so welcome and very quickly felt at home. It is with great sadness that she was only in Lyncroft for 3 months before she passed away but during that time she was included in all activities and taken on outings to a tea dance and the seaside to name but two. The staff were always polite, attentive and caring. I am so happy that we chose Lyncroft to look after her in her last few months. I can't thank them enough.

Mum came in for two weeks of respite, she was confused and in pain. Two weeks later she is a different person, clear of thought and happy again.

The staff are caring and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. A good activities manager gets them activated. Good location - near to the park and town centre for walks. Also has lovely outside areas. All staff are very welcoming. My mother is having a new lease of life.

I am so impressed with the consistent cleanliness of the building and the friendliness of every single staff member, every time I visit. I have never come across such an excellent care provider and I work part-time in an independent living scheme, which also offers care. A*

My father-in-law had been a resident at Lyncroft Care Home for nearly five years until he passed away earlier this month. The love and care he was provided with, particularly since the change in management last year, was far beyond our expectations. This extended to the whole family, and the support has continued since his passing. Our views on his medications were considered and passed to the appropriate agencies. All the carers treated him with love and respect and we received regular updates on his health and welfare. His room was bright and always clean. The menu options were varied and his individual requirements catered for. The entertainment has also improved considerably over the last few months and we love seeing the interaction and inclusion of all the residents. There is always something for everyone. Thank you so much, we are so grateful to you all.

From myself and my family, I cannot thank all the staff enough for their professionalism, its quality and all the staff I know their names. They are part of the family. They all show and give lovely and care to my dad and the residents. The place is kept so clean, the food is exceptional, the whole facility is up there, and people can learn a lot from the Lyncroft setup. Keep it up.
