Rose Lodge Care Home in the market town of Market Deeping provides residential and dementia care in an exceptionally warm, friendly and comfortable setting.

Opened in 2015, the luxury care home has been meticulously furnished to a high standard. Residents enjoy a ground-floor lounge and dining room with a courtyard seating area, hairdressing salon and library. There is also a first-floor dining room and lounge.

Rose Lodge has its own front-of-house team on hand to deliver a fine dining experience daily.

Residents enjoy a wide range of activities tailored to their individual preferences and needs. The home has built strong links with the local community in Market Deeping and events at the home are well supported by the local community. Residents regularly go out into the town and attend services at St Guthlac's Church on a Sunday should they wish to. We found Rose Lodge a very kind and caring home for our mum who had dementia. It was lovely to have regular virtual calls with senior carers and the EM to help me to keep up with mum's progress as I lived in Canada.

My mother became a resident at Rose Lodge in February. The welcome we received was exemplary. Everyone from the manager to the chef and carers were so warm and friendly, It could not have been better. Since then my mother has received very good care. The activity staff really encourage her to participate
in outings and events in the home which has improved her quality of life dramatically.
As a family we are always made to feel so welcome and the staff are very receptive to any questions we have. It is so reassuring to know that mum's now safe and being well cared for.

I've always said I wouldn't send Dad to a care home, but when we couldn't cope anymore we had to. As soon as we walked into Rose Lodge, I felt so at ease. It's a lovely place and staff were great. There was a good variety of food and if you didn't want what was on the menu, they would always offer something
else. I can't fault them at all. Dad was happy there.

Our first time in Rose Lodge for respite and it was a revelation. I didn't know what to expect as it was my husband's first time. The management and staff are amazing, so kind and patient. Your catering team produce some delicious meals that would shame some hotels and restaurants, the food was hot
and no soggy vegetables! Would certainly recommend it!

Have only good things to say about the home. My mother was there for seven years before recently passing.
I have had a good relationship with all the staff who treated Mum with kindness and great love.
They made her passing less stressful than it could have been.

My mum was in the home for seven years. All the staff treated her at all times with nothing but kindness. Nothing was too much trouble for them. In the last days of her life, they made sure they supported us by bringing us tea and food. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Like many people, I felt guilty placing Mum in a care home, but with two young children and work, I could not look after her myself. She was also uprooted from her home in Yorkshire and lost her husband. It was a very difficult time for all. She was recovering from pneumonia when she went into Rose
Lodge, was struggling to feed herself and had poor mobility. The improvement she has made since being at Rose Lodge is truly amazing. It really is down to the fabulous staff. They are so genuinely caring towards the residents. I visited every day for the first few weeks and witnessed first-hand the superb care Mum was receiving. The activity leaders are absolute gems, and it is so wonderful to know that Mum is getting out and about. She enjoys a laugh with the staff and has really come out of her shell. She also loves the routine of going to church. I like the flexibility that I can visit or take Mum out at times that fit with our family life. I would not hesitate to recommend Rose Lodge!

As a family, we have been made very welcome and the staff are wonderfully helpful and considerate. There is always a friendly face to ask if you need help or advice. What first struck me about Rose Lodge was the welcoming atmosphere and person-centred focus, always done with dignity and kindness. They just seem to 'get' it. Someone always answers the phone, suggestions are taken seriously and there is a sense of comfort, knowing Mum is being really well looked after.
There are plenty of great activities available and residents seem to have a lovely time (as can be seen from the photos). There are so many events and delicious-looking cakes. It's a good life for some! But for me, the best reflection of how well this home has performed is that when Mum went in she was really not in a very good state at all, but now she is simply flourishing. I would credit Rose Lodge (plus my sister of course) for much of the improvement.
