Job summary
The Waterside Care Home is a contemporary, purpose-built 64-bedroom
care facility with ensuite accommodation, nestled in the heart of St

We are seeking to appoint a kind, caring and motivated Head of
Hospitality to join our team. To be responsible for organising the
Hospitality Assistants and Care Assistants to enable the dining
experience for our residents to be smooth and efficient at all times.
You are responsible for dining room preparation, cleanliness and set
up, for ensuring that the meals are served in a timely, presentable
and in a correct manner. This role is an exciting role leading a team
of Hospitality Assistants including rotas, training, supervisions. We
have a 40 hour contract available with an hourly rate of £13.20! Shift
times are 0800-1900, with alternate weekend working.
Role Responsibilities:
Ensure there is a provision of high standard of hospitality
service.
Support and assist visitors.
Inform the Chef of
any individual requirements of residents.
Following cleaning
schedules and procedures, as per company HACCP.
To ensure that
all training given is adhered to.
Ensure records and reports are
properly written up e.g. cleaning schedules, work sheets, fridge
temperatures and that all HACCP paperwork is completed.
Manage,
allocate duties and supervise the hospitality team ensuring a quality
delivery of care for the duration of the shift.
Coach staff and
participate in ongoing development of staff.
Take responsible
for promoting safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder
is responsible for or comes into contact with.
Skills and experience required:
Dining or Restaurant Supervisor experience is essential.
Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable.
Ability to effectively communicate with other members of the team is
essential.
Participation in activities organised in the Home is essential.
