This role will suit a highly motivated and versatile team player, who possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates must have experience in providing care services and able to work under own initiative and hold a NVQ L2/3 along with Social Care experience and Leadership skills to lead a team.

What you’ll be doing;

  • Supervise and support staff to deliver the highest possible standards of care
  • Liaise with GP’s, Pharmacies and relatives and any other stakeholders as required
  • Carry out supervision using a variety of methods (including, face to face shadowing and spot-checking)
  • Support in training of junior and new staff members in all aspects of the care home
  • Demonstrate basic level of basic IT skills
  • Administer prescribed medications and maintain appropriate records in line with policy and procedures
  • Ensure care plans and risk assessments are maintained and always up-to-date
  • Maintain accurate record keeping, documentation and paperwork processes
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with residents, families and colleagues
  • Helping our residents with personal support and care
  • At all times set good standards and lead by example
  • Be familiar with all relevant company policies and keep up to date with any relevant changes to policy or procedure
  • To act in the best interests of the company at all times
  • Assist service users in all aspects of their care needs (e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual). Provide attention when needed whilst ensuring service users retain their comfort and dignity.
  • Carry out regular checks on service users at intervals determined by senior staff members.
