At Derwent, we’re searching for an experienced Senior Care Assistant
to help guide our incredible care team and support our residents in
living happy, healthy and independent lives. If you’ve got experience
in care and have previously helped to supervise a team, this could be
the perfect role for you. You should also have a Level 3 Health and
Social Care qualification or a commitment to undertake further
training and development relevant to the post.
Here’s a flavour of what you’ll be doing:
- Working alongside the Deputy Manager, supervising and supporting your team so they’re confident and skilled in every part of their role.
- Supporting residents with a range of personal care needs, while making sure dignity, respect and privacy are always maintained.
- Ensuring every resident has a comprehensive and up-to-date care plan that reflects their needs.
- Dispensing medication with accuracy and care, keeping detailed records as you go.
