Dungate Manor in Reigate is looking for a Domestic Assistant to join our friendly team 8:00 - 16:00, expected 37.5 hours per week.
Full training/induction and uniform will be given.
Principal Responsibilities:
1. To clean private areas of the home, inclusive of en-suites, as well as communal areas of the home, including bathrooms and toilets.
2. To carry out the cleaning of the home with due regard for service users’ privacy and dignity.
3. To give every assistance to any resident that wishes to clean all or part of their own room.
4. To respect all residents’ property and all equipment in the home and report any defects.
5. To ensure that all equipment used is left in a clean condition after use and to empty all bins.
6. To report any accidents suffered by residents or staff to the person-in-charge immediately.
7. To understand and adhere to the procedure for dealing with complaints, and ensure they are dealt with promptly and sympathetically.
8. To be aware of, and act in accordance with, the Health and Safety at Work Act of 1974 and the fire regulations as appropriate.
