I am extremely glad that we found the best care possible for my Mother. Dungate Manor Care Home in Reigate, Surrey is a gem among care homes.


From my initial conversations with the manager, I knew that I had found the right place for Mum. The team at Dungate is a well knit family, working as one.

Over the last few months each individual team member has shown genuine care for my Mother and it was deeply satisfying to see the attention to detail in the care given to her.


In particular I would like to name one staff member as an outstanding care giver and amazing individual who is very much in charge of her team. As with all her staff, she gives 110% every single minute of the day. The manager and this care giver quite obviously have the respect of all their carefully chosen staff and it is clear to see that this is reciprocated by them.


I must mention three other staff members, all of whom I found to be incredibly dedicated and committed to their profession. Every single member of staff was approachable and helpful.

Just wanted to say that the home is in a beautiful position in the Buckland area. The staff are young, smart, attractive and love to make things happy for all the residents. We have had chair exercises today, which is a laugh as well as exercising our muscles! It's a lovely place with very positive

Where do I begin? The staff are caring and very kind, and nothing is too much trouble for them to cope with for the many residents. We are all warm, well fed and know that we are safe at all times. There seems to be nothing too much trouble for them at any time.

This has to be the friendliest care home I have visited.
The staff and management are amazing, nothing is too much trouble.
The dinning facilities are to the highest of standards whereby all needs are catered for.
The home is set in beautiful surroundings with a warm homely feel. There is always
something going on I have often found myself in the mist of the daily activities, singing along!Everyone seems very happy. I would highly recommend Dungate Manor.

My mother has been at Dungate Manor for over two years now. Unfortunately she had been in four previous care homes which had not proved successful for her. However, Dungate went over and above to get the right help and medication for her. They have also been incredibly supportive to me during a very

Sadly my father was a resident at Dungate Manor for only a short time before he died. However, during his stay there he was treated with compassion and the level of care provided was exemplary. Last week my father, only a few weeks away from his 89th birthday, peacefully passed away. He had been a resident at Dungate Manor for the past five years and I know these final years were joyful for him. The managers and the care staff treated my father, as they do all the other residents, like a family
member. This deep care and sincere compassion continued until his very end. My sister and I were allowed to stay at our father's bedside for the last two days of his life and we were superbly looked after by the Dungate team. I just want to thank the managers and the staff (day and night shifts) for everything they did for my father. Myself and my sister and her husband cannot thank you enough.

My mum arrived at Dungate in March 2022. She was 84 at the time and was struggling with severe dementia. The staff at Dungate welcomed her with open arms and made her 18-month stay with them a happy one. I always felt she was so well looked after. My mum needed round-the-clock care. I loved the way
the carers cuddled her and made jokes with her and made her laugh. My mum would laugh and her eyes would light up when they chatted with her. The staff really understood my mum so well, they‘d all taken the time to get to know her.
Dungate is a happy place. The residents are encouraged to spend their day downstairs with the other residents, this was so good for my mum. She thrived on watching what was going on as she couldn’t read or watch the television.
Dungate Manor is a very special place, it has a real family feel.
I really can‘t thank the staff enough at Dungate for all the love they gave my mum.
Dungate deserves a hundred stars. Thank you for taking such great care of my mum.

I wish I could give Dungate Manor 10 stars. My father lived there for the final two and a half years of his life. He had severe dementia and needed a high level of care and I cannot fault them on a single aspect of his care. Residents are treated with love, compassion and dignity. The atmosphere in
the home is incredible, it truly is like one big family. Within weeks of my father being there, it was clear to me that the staff were really getting to know him. They would tell me things he had said or done which proved to me they were spending time with him; things like little quirks of his personality or classic things he said that they could only know by being by his side.
My father died peacefully in Dungate in November 2023 and I was with him throughout his final week. I was already happy with the home but the love and care the staff showed both my father and me went above and beyond, I will be eternally grateful for their wonderful care. Dungate Manor truly is the best care home.

Job Title: Care Home Manager

We offer first-class care for the elderly on a permanent or respite basis, delivered by highly trained professionals in lovely comfortable surroundings.


Our philosophy is simple; we want everyone to enjoy life to the fullest. We never forget that all our residents are individuals and we treat them with dignity, privacy and respect while offering freedom of choice and as much independence as possible.


Friends and family are welcome at any time. Hot drinks and snacks are always available and guests are invited to share a meal with residents. Our cook prepares three nutritious meals a day and the menu changes regularly to reflect seasonal produce. Special diets are catered for.


Residents have the freedom to choose what to do and when. There is plenty going and our activities coordinator puts together a full programme which is adapted to suit the needs and wishes of our residents. Activities include quizzes, sing-alongs, reminiscence therapy, indoor games, arts and crafts, baking and wherever possible, trips out and about.

Alisha Turner

Job Title: Care Home Administrator

As the Administrator at Dungate Manor Care Home, Alisha Turner brings 5 years of customer service experience and 2 years in administration, with a strong background in healthcare support. Before joining the team at Dungate, she worked at 111 NHS, where she developed a deep understanding of patient care and the importance of compassionate communication.


Alisha is a dedicated, empathetic professional who is passionate about supporting the residents, their families, and the staff at Dungate. Fiona has over 30 years of experience working within the healthcare sector and is a Registered Nurse, remaining active on the NMC register. Her management career started as a charge nurse and then as a ward manager within the NHS, working in wards specialising in care for older adults enduring mental health conditions and dementia.


For the last 15 years, Fiona has worked in the Care Home Sector, taking on various Management roles, including Registered Manager, Regional Support Manager, Clinical and Quality Manager, Compliance Consultant and Operations Manager.

Job Title: Group Lifestyle Manager

In July 2025, I was honoured to become the Group Lifestyle Manager for Premium Care Group, where I oversee and develop lifestyle programmes across all our care homes to enhance residents’ wellbeing and quality of life.


Before this, I was Care Manager at Weald Hall, having started my career there as a care assistant. I quickly built strong relationships with residents and the care team. My passion has always been to make a genuine difference, caring for every resident as if they were part of my own family.

Sonya Virdee

Job Title: Group Clinical Manager

Sonya has been a qualified nurse for over 22 years, with extensive experience in both Acute and community settings across various National Health Care Services (NHS) in Northwest London. She has also worked in the Middle East with the Government on projects including reducing amputation rates and promoting awareness on wound management. In 2022, Sonya transitioned into the Nursing Home industry to utilise her broad knowledge and skills in managing clients with chronic conditions.


Sonya initially qualified as a general nurse in 2023 and went on to attain further qualifications, including Tissue Viability (specialising in managing all types of wounds, including cancerous wounds, pressure ulcers, and leg ulcers), Teaching and Co-mentoring, Leadership and Management. She also holds a master’s degree in Health and Social Person-Centred Care and a Meta Master's in Behaviour Studies.


She was previously the Home Manager at Kingfishers Care Home in Bourne End, where she had the privilege of being part of a diverse, modern, and dynamic management team at Premier Health Care. In her new role as Group Clinical Manager within the Premium Care Group, Sonya will be using her expertise to support the homes in achieving and maintaining high clinical standards.


In her spare time, Sonya enjoys reading and watching documentaries.
