My mother and I are very happy with the care that my father receives. The carers are very attentive and understand my father's needs well. He is up and dressed and in the lounge promptly most days and although he cannot participate in many activities he is included when can. Dungate has a good programme of activities for the residents and often take those who can out into the community. Fena and Gabbi work so hard to make sure all are entertained and happy. The other carers are very personable and obliging.

Mum has really enjoyed being here and calls it home. It is like being with family. Although we loved having mum with us it has given us peace of mind and our own lives back with mum within easy access to us.

Kingfishers is an adapted mansion from the turn of the previous century which has been extended and adapted to Care Home use. The interior combines traditional public rooms for daytime use and individually styled bedrooms for residents. The building is smart, well decorated and maintained, and furnished with quality furniture. Kingfishers has all the necessary equipment to cope with mobility needs. Most importantly, the staff are kind and caring and well led and trained. So far as I know, Kingfishers does not use agency staff. The kitchen and chef personnel produce wholesome healthy food with plenty of variety to cover individual preferences. There is a regular and varied routine of activities which patients can participate in, if they are inclined. I find Kingfishers a friendly and uplifting home which my wife with advanced dementia is gradually becoming accustomed to and I enjoy my visits. The garden is lovely, well maintained and suitable for outdoor activities when weather allows.

My Grandad has been with Weald Hall for 3 1/2 years and has always been well cared for, and treated with kindess. The staff know him so well and cater to his needs. The home is well maintained and has great facilities.

My mother has been living at Kingfishers for over a year now. I make regular weekly visits to see her, every time I arrive, I am welcomed as though I was one of the family. My mother is nearly always in the main room and is joining in with one of the many activities which is provided by the amazing activity team. Although her dementia can be challenging for her, she is included in all the fun. I know that she is extremely well looked after, every member of staff without exception, is kind and caring and really wants to do their very best for her. There are so many special events organised by the home which we as family are invited to attend. We have all had some lovely times sharing in the fun, and these are remembered with great affection. The manager Roxana is truly outstanding, nothing is too much bother and it is clear that she is passionate about the residents, home and staff.
It would be very hard, if not impossible for me to find anywhere better for my fabulous mum. X

My experiance of Rosebank and the staff has been absolutly fantastic.

Communication with our family has been flawless, keeping us updated on every detail. As soon as you walk in you will feel at home and now it is my mum's home where both she and I feel part of a family. The staff, of course, offer their excellent skills but it's more than that. The staff love the residents and they care about their work. It can be put simply - kindness. Each resident is an individual with specific needs. There is no 'one size fits all' here. I go most days and I see how the staff quietly, efficiently and effectively offer their kindness every day. And that's for all the tasks from one to one feeding to playing and entertaining to preparing meals, cleaning clothes and rooms to cutting hair or polishing nails to listening and gently carrying to administering medication or involving the doctor to planning dancing and singing and sparkles.
Best decision I ever made for my mum.

We chose Kingfishers, Bourne End for my mother to have respite care following several falls in her home and 4 weeks of hospitalisation, from recommendations, proximity, meeting with staff and seeing the home for myself. My siblings and I have been delighted in our choice, and Roxanna, Wendy and the team have all been extremely professional, and lovely also. My mother has made excellent progress since coming into the home and hopes to return to her own house next week.

We've recently moved my Mum into Kingfishers, and I couldn't be happier with the care she's receiving so far. The staff are warm, welcoming, friendly and professional, and they strike just the right balance between providing attentive care and encouraging residents to maintain their independence....
We've recently moved my Mum into Kingfishers, and I couldn't be happier with the care she's receiving so far. The staff are warm, welcoming, friendly and professional, and they strike just the right balance between providing attentive care and encouraging residents to maintain their independence. They do a great job of encouraging everyone to keep mobile, mix with other residents and enjoy socialising. Mum has already made new friends, and seeing her smiling, laughing and joking again has been a real reassurance for our family. The difference compared with her previous care home has been remarkable, and we feel much more at ease knowing she's in such caring hands.
A big thank you to Roxana and the whole team. We really appreciate everything you're doing for Mum. Keep up the fantastic work!

We are so pleased with the care and support my mother-in-law receives at Kingfishers. The friendly staff and beautiful, characterful building create a warm, homely atmosphere that feels like a real home. The care is attentive, compassionate and dignified, with thoughtful personal touches such as having residents' hair and nails cared for. These details make a real difference to their comfort and wellbeing. When my mother-in-law recently experienced a frightening choking incident, the staff responded professionally and cared for her exceptionally well, giving us great reassurance. Dad had a very happy last year in Kingsfishers. He thought it was too early for him to go into a care home, but mum needed to go, so they moved in together, separated by a corridor. We set his room up so he felt a little independent still whilst sitting with mum in the day time. In his last days, following a hospital visit, where we told he had hours to live Kingfisher's were happy for dad to return to the home despite his rapid decline and associated extra needs. I remember returning to Kingsfishers at 2am and dad was welcomed buy 6 care staff all who knew him well, winching him from ambulance stretcher to wheelchair and up to his bed. He was struggling like crazy but I know for sure he was delighted to be back. As a nursing home, they are able to deal with heightened care needs, which is helpful, and prevents you having to move a loved one if their condition deteriorates. Mum remains in the home and is well looked after. Staff have been great with mum and dad - and us visitors!

We looked around every local care home and had ruled them all out. We found Weald Hall and went for a look round. We were greeted by smiling happy carers and residents.

We looked around every local care home and had ruled them all out. We found Weald Hall and went for a look round. We were greeted by smiling happy carers and residents.
We met Danielle the home Manager, she showed us all the facilities, activities and care Mum would be receiving and answered every question and worry we had. Mum has been really happy living there and been made to feel at home. All of the staff, with no exception are truly amazing and as a family we would be lost without them. Nothing is too much trouble. Mums care from the very basic of needs to a full health crisis has been outstanding, they have all gone above and beyond to care not just for Mum but for us as a family and took control of situations we had no idea how to deal with. You are had to feel like part of a big family. Mum is quite tricky to deal with sometimes but they always treat her with care, dignity and respect, I cannot recommend Weald Hall highly enough, they are truly exceptional in every way.
