Finally, we are actively working on adapting and improving the greenhouse door for people to use safely and effectively.

Sharon became a carer at the age of 15, initially to care for her disabled mother after leaving school, allowing her father to continue working. She then worked at a local hospital before moving into care home work, where she achieved NVQ Level 2 and NVQ Level 3 qualifications. Sharon has since progressed to become an Advanced Care Practitioner at Manor Barn.
Vishnu started his care career at Manor Barn two years ago and has been enjoying both his role and the environment. He is very happy to be part of the Manor Barn family and proud to have been promoted to Senior and CHAPS. Vishnu strives to give residents the best possible quality of life through his dedicated care.
I have a strong administration background, having worked in many various roles from a Private Healthcare Admin to Care Coordinator for a large Domiciliary company on the Southcoast. My passion for elderly care started years ago when my beloved Grandad fell ill and I was in awe of the wonderful care he received, since then, I knew this was the industry for me, encouraging every resident to live to their fullest.
When I am not working, I am kept busy as a Wife and Mum of 3. Enjoying walks with our French Bulldog Mack and finding the best Coffee and Cake spots!
Matt Wardak is a skilled chef with over 15 years of experience in the culinary field. He currently works at Manor Barn Care Home, where he takes great pride in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals that bring comfort and enjoyment to the residents each day.
Cooking has always been Matt’s passion, and he is dedicated to maintaining high standards in every dish he creates. He believes that food is more than just nourishment; it’s also about care, tradition, and human connection, especially in a care home environment.

Sarah is the Head Housekeeper at Manor Barn and has worked there for 14 years. She takes great pride in maintaining high standards and ensuring the cleanliness of the residents’ rooms. In addition to her housekeeping duties, Sarah has been known to organise fun activities at the home, believing there’s nothing better than seeing the joy on residents’ faces. She firmly believes that all residents should be treated with the same care and respect one would expect for their own family members.
With over 20 years of experience in the building trade, I bring a broad and versatile skill set covering everything from plumbing to carpentry. In April, I began my role at Manor Barn Maintenance, where I've discovered a genuine passion for person-centred care and contributing to a supportive living environment. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through mountain biking and kayaking.
Carla brings a wealth of experience to her role, having honed her craft as a hairdresser in both London and Australia. Approximately seven years ago, she transitioned into working within care homes, where her dedication to enhancing the wellbeing of residents quickly became apparent. Carla takes great pride in helping individuals look and feel their best, offering both expertise and a warm, personal touch.
Outside of work, Carla is a devoted mother to two children. In her leisure time, she enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle at the gym or spending quality moments by the seaside — her favourite place to unwind.
Fiona has over 30 years of experience working within the healthcare sector and is a Registered Nurse, remaining active on the NMC register. Her management career started as a charge nurse and then as a ward manager within the NHS, working in wards specialising in care for older adults enduring mental health conditions and dementia.
For the last 15 years, Fiona has worked in the Care Home Sector, taking on various Management roles, including Registered Manager, Regional Support Manager, Clinical and Quality Manager, Compliance Consultant and Operations Manager.
Remaining very hands-on clinically, she is passionate about supporting our management teams to deliver exceptional person-centred care, ensuring all individuals can maintain their independence and enjoy the excellent quality of life our care homes offer.
Louise is the Operations Manager at Premium Care Group Ltd, bringing over 20 years of experience in health and social care. Kate has been working in the care sector for 27 years. She has worked in all areas of care from Domically Care to working as a Deputy Care Manager. Kate now works as an Administrator and uses the knowledge that she has gained over the years to support the Team. It's obvious to anyone that Kate has a clear passion for caring for the elderly and likes to be in the heart of the home.
