During her time there I cannot praise the staff enough for the caring attention they gave to my mother .
Special mention to mikhala and Dommy for the special attention and help they gave to me during my visits to my mother.
Many thanks for looking after my mother during her short time with you .

Margaret was only there a few months before sadly she had a fall from which she did not recover. However I am so glad she spent her last months in such a beautiful and friendly place. The staff really are exceptional and there is an atmosphere of genuine caring and enthusiasm to value people and maximise their quality of life. Sharon, the Manager, is a strong character who carefully selects her people - with the aid of residents - to ensure this human face

My husband is a recent arrival and it has been a revelation to me. All staff have been patient, kind and welcoming to us both and I could not ask for better. He participates in activities he would not do at home and is settling well.

My mother was resident at Churchfields just under a year. In that short time, she enjoyed a better life than in the years before which had become difficult and distressing for her, followed by a rather worrying search for a suitable residential home. The moment we found Churchfields, we knew it was the right place. My mother's time at Churchfields brought her true contentment and calm, the care was exceptional and we felt we had gained an additional family in the last months of our mother's life. The understanding of dementia at Churchfields is deep, understanding and compassion go hand in hand. Every aspect of care is superb, every member of the team knows every resident for themselves, the atmosphere is gentle and warm and there are varied and joyful activities, and it is excellently managed and resourced. I don't have the words to express my thanks for the way Churchfields cared for our mother, and how kind and thoughtful everyone was towards the whole family.
We are truly honoured that you trusted us with her care and that we could play a part in supporting both her and your...

Most of all, they have made her feel welcome. I can tell that they love having her around and truly want to support her in the best possible way.

Jennifer and I are profoundly grateful for the wonderful care that you took of Ian during his stay over the past 3 years. We know that he much appreciated it too. In October 2022, Ian was discharged from the hospital with the prognosis of less than six months of life expectancy. The care and support that you gave him extended this a few more years, from our prospective he was safe in your hands, and you gave us peace of mind, knowing that any health or medical needs were immediately addressed. This was invaluable. Thank you for everything.
Your trust in our team was truly...
Since moving in, my mother-in-law has settled very well to living at Churchfields. There are lots of activities going on for her to join in with, which she really enjoys. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly. Meals are always appetising, and she enjoys eating with other residents. We are often asked if we would like to stay for lunch when we visit.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a lovely review. We're delighted to hear that your mother-in-law has settled in so well at Churchfields and is enjoying both the activities and the companionship of other residents. It's wonderful to know that our team's warmth and friendliness...
Having visited with my mother the first two weeks when she moved in, and recently for a week in the new year, it has become very clear it was the right decision. The care she receives is second to none, the staff are very caring and attentive to her needs, they treat her with respect, dignity and friendliness. I have got to know a lot of the staff myself, and each day I arrive at the home, and during the day, I am greeted with a smile, and they genuinely seem very happy in what they are doing, which directly impacts the well-being and comfort of the residents. If my mother is seen by outside doctors or nurses, I am always kept up to date with and email from the care home nurses.
Living so far away, Churchfield offers me great peace of mind, my mother is in good hands.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and heartfelt review. We are so grateful for your kind words and for the trust you have placed in us to care for your mother.
It means a great deal to our team to know that you feel confident and reassured, especially while living...
Churchfield has a cosy family atmosphere, with an emphasis on keeping residents busy, but it's also very efficiently run when it comes to meeting the challenging health care demands of many residents. The staff are painstaking and experienced and diligent about keeping relatives involved about developments in the care of their loved ones. It's probably unfair to single any one person out, but Sharon, the manager, leads brilliantly from the front.
It means a great deal to hear that he has...
Although my husband does not appreciate the care he is receiving, as a family we are very grateful he is safe and well cared for. He is well fed; having put back on the weight he lost during an 8 week hospital stay and has been known to take part in some of the variety of activities on offer. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and it is reassuring to know there is 24 hour nursing care.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We truly appreciate your kind words and are very pleased to hear that your husband is safe, well cared for, and regaining his strength with us. It is especially encouraging to know he has put weight back on and has been able to take...
He is looked after exceptionally well and treated with dignity and compassion. The carers are amazingly empathetic and really seem to know him well as an individual. He enjoys all the activities and joins in with enthusiasm and interest. He has told me : 'They look after me well here'.
In the summer he was able to sit outside on the terrace and to enjoy playing boules and table tennis from his wheelchair in the lovely gardens.
I am impressed with the different activities the home provides.Live music, visits from an owl sanctuary,Shetland pony visits as well as physical activities and trips out in the minibus.
I have every confidence in the staff and management to look after my husband in a safe and caring environment.I would highly recommend Churchfields Care Home.
It means a great deal to our whole team to hear that he feels safe, respected and well cared for, and that he is...
A well run home with very good and caring staff. There is a lovely patio area at the rear of the care home that is a good asset in the summer.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We are delighted to hear that your wife has received excellent care and that you have found our home to be well run with caring staff. Your feedback means a great deal to our whole team, who work hard to provide a safe, warm, and supportive environment for...
My mum became a respite resident in July 2025 (suffering with dementia), from the initial meeting with Sharon (care home manager) and meeting the senior team we realised very quickly that we had made the right decision. I visit at least 3 times a week and I'm always greeted in a professional and friendly way and my mum is always participating in activities and regular trips out in the minibus to local clubs. I love the regular social media posts that show the activities and the residents including my mum appear to be happy and engaged. I'm sure there are stressful times for the Churchfields team, but I've never seen this, they are always smiling and happy to help. Recently the flu virus hit the care home, Sharon and her team kept us up to date on the situation and still made you feel welcome and making sure that the residents where well looked after. My first experience of Christmas in a care home.......it was fantastic! As always THANKS!
We are delighted to hear that from your very first meeting you felt confident in your decision and that your mum has settled so well with...

Meet the Team (12)

I began my journey as a carer then moved into the role as a senior and due to my passion and personality I then became the deputy. I am now Care Home Manager. I am dedicated to providing the best care possible.

Alex graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2008 in the Philippines. After relocating to the UK, he began his journey in care at Churchfields as a Care Assistant. Through hard work and dedication, Alex progressed to Senior Carer, then Care Practitioner, and now proudly serves as the Clinical Deputy at Churchfields Care Home.
For Alex, this role is far more than just a job; it’s a deep responsibility he holds close to his heart. He finds caring for the elderly to be one of the most rewarding and meaningful experiences in the world.

Lauryn works as an Administrator at Churchfields Care Home and greatly enjoys being part of such a meaningful environment. She is naturally creative, enjoys connecting with people, and takes pride in helping wherever she can.

Josh has worked in catering for the last 16 years across a variety of venues, including restaurants, pubs, universities, and care facilities.
He enjoys cooking fresh, high-quality, nutritious food centred around the home, with a focus on creating a comforting experience for others.
Outside of work, Josh enjoys keeping fit by going to the gym and walking his two dogs. He also loves fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Nikki has worked at Churchfields Care Home for the past six and a half years, initially as a Senior Carer, a role she thoroughly enjoyed due to her passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care to each individual resident.
Earlier this year, Nikki transitioned into the Activities Team as the Activities Lead. She loves bringing joy to the residents through engaging activities and holistic therapies. As a qualified Reiki practitioner, Nikki offers alternative therapies such as Reiki and Indian head massage, helping to enhance residents’ overall well-being.

I originally started as a freelance painter & decorator but then came on board full time as the Maintenance Operative, where I work between Rosebank & Churchfields, spending a few days per week in each care home.
I started my working career many moons ago as an apprentice engineer, which was really interesting, especially working within the stunning university buildings in Oxford. After this, I used my new skills to work with the farming industries, helping to erect specialist farming buildings. I then moved on to own my own shop in Faringdon, selling antiques and collectables. I have also been in the painting & decorating business on and off since the 80’s.
I really enjoy the care industry, I will always make time to stop and have a chat to any residents about their day.

Suzanne began working at Churchfields Care Home in 2021 as a Housekeeper before progressing to the role of Head Housekeeper, a position she has held for the past two years.
In this role, Suzanne takes great pride in working alongside her team to ensure the home remains clean, tidy, and welcoming. She is dedicated to providing a high standard of service for the residents and finds real satisfaction in contributing to their comfort and wellbeing.
Suzanne also serves as the home’s Infection Control Champion, a responsibility she takes very seriously to help maintain a safe and healthy environment for all.
One of the most rewarding aspects of her role is being able to support the residents and spend meaningful time engaging with them.

Fiona has over 30 years of experience working within the healthcare sector and is a Registered Nurse, remaining active on the NMC register. Her management career started as a charge nurse and then as a ward manager within the NHS, working in wards specialising in care for older adults enduring mental health conditions and dementia.
For the last 15 years, Fiona has worked in the Care Home Sector, taking on various Management roles, including Registered Manager, Regional Support Manager, Clinical and Quality Manager, Compliance Consultant and Operations Manager.
Remaining very hands-on clinically, she is passionate about supporting our management teams to deliver exceptional person-centred care, ensuring all individuals can maintain their independence and enjoy the excellent quality of life our care homes offer.

Louise is the Operations Manager at Premium Care Group Ltd, bringing over 20 years of experience in health and social care. Her career began as a domiciliary carer while raising her young children, originally seeking flexible work, she quickly discovered a deep passion for making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Since then, she has never looked back.
Throughout her career, Louise has held a variety of roles across the sector, each building on the last and shaping her strong understanding of what good care truly looks like. Her journey has led her to her current role, where she oversees multiple care homes, supports managers, and ensures the highest standards of quality, compliance, and person-centred care.
Louise is passionate about fostering environments where both residents and staff feel genuinely supported. She leads with integrity, remains hands-on when needed, and is deeply committed to staying connected to the people behind the work. Supporting others to succeed and feel valued is at the heart of everything she does.
She is proud to be part of Premium Care Group, working alongside an exceptional team that shares a common goal: delivering an outstanding experience for both residents and staff.

With over 30 years of experience in the care sector, Kate has built an extensive and varied career, holding roles ranging from domiciliary care to Deputy Care Manager. She also spent many years as an Administrator, where her wealth of knowledge, dedication, and unwavering support made her an invaluable member of the team.
Kate's passion for elderly care is at the heart of everything she does. She thrives in the centre of the home, maintaining close relationships with both residents and colleagues and ensuring that compassion and quality remain at the forefront of every interaction.
A strong advocate for community engagement, Kate is passionate about meeting new people, building meaningful relationships, and making a genuine difference in the lives of others. She takes great pride in supporting homes across Premium Care Group, always happy to share her expertise and contribute wherever she is needed.
Most recently, Kate served as Group Community Engagement Manager for Premium Care Group, a role she was immensely proud to hold. In July 2026, she was promoted to Head of Marketing, where she continues to champion connection, compassion, and innovation across the organisation. Kate is excited to build on this new chapter, driving the company's marketing strategy while continuing to make a positive impact for residents, families, colleagues, and the wider community.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her horses and her beloved dog, Selly. A devoted family person, she cherishes quality time outdoors with her two children, Josh and Daisy, and enjoys making lasting memories with her family and loved ones.

As Customer Liaison Manager, I support families in one of the most important decisions they’ll ever make, finding the right home for their loved ones. I guide and support each care enquiry with compassion and professionalism, ensuring every family feels heard, informed, and confident in their choices.
In addition to my work with families, I also oversee our marketing and advertising, helping to showcase the heart of our homes and the care we provide. I’m a people person at heart, and I’m proud to be part of a business that shares my core belief: life does not end with a dementia diagnosis. Our homes are places to continue living with dignity, joy, and purpose.
Dedicated and deeply passionate, I’m here to help, no question is ever too much.

Daisy is an 11-year-old community champion who has been visiting The Anchorage care home since she was a toddler. A few years ago, she created Through the Eyes of a Child, a heartfelt initiative designed to capture children’s honest reflections on their experiences of visiting the care home, helping staff and residents see the environment through a child’s perspective.
What began as a simple idea has grown into a meaningful programme that fosters intergenerational connections. Daisy encourages children from local schools to visit the home, building friendships with residents and taking part in activities, events, and outings. She has also developed feedback forms to ensure children’s voices are heard and valued.
Over the past year, Daisy’s compassion and dedication have been widely recognised. She has received a Champions of Care Special Recognition Award from Person Centred Software, the Community Cup from her school for her empathy and service, and the Saxon Weald Local Community Youth Winner Award for her outstanding contribution to the care home and wider community. She is also due to join the PDCCA Volunteer Friends Scheme in the New Year.
Now beginning to share Through the Eyes of a Child with other care homes across the group, Daisy continues to lead with kindness, empathy, and maturity beyond her years, proving that age is no barrier to making a meaningful difference.
