Rosebank is situated in the beautiful village of Bampton in West Oxfordshire. Rosebank is an independently run 28 bedded Care Home, which prides itself on providing personal care in a friendly, homely and supportive environment.

The philosophy is to enable people to continue their lives in a dignified, loving and safe home. Bampton has a vibrant community life which carers encourage residents to be a part of. The home is integrated into the community and they in turn are actively involved in the home.

In addition, the home is truly fortunate to have an excellent medical team in the village, of GPs, district nurses and a pharmacy, who visit the home daily and involve themselves in all phases of care.

All staff are well trained and are supported to achieve national qualifications. The home also has a comprehensive in house training programme. Staff are experienced to deal with all aspects of care in the elderly, including physical infirmity and psychological needs. Carers have a particular expertise in the management of dementia.

The home can accommodate long and short term stays, day care, rehabilitation and respite stays.

Selecting a care home for a loved one is an important decision. Interested parties are welcome to call or visit the home at any time. Staff will be happy to chat to you and offer any guidance, advice and support they are able.

My husband has advanced dementia and has been a resident in Rosebank for nearly 2 yrs . I have been very pleased with how he has settled and he seems contented whenever I visit. The staff are all very approachable and willing to address any issues I might have. There are daily activities which all
residents can take part in if they wish. The food is very good and the menu is varied and flexible . The atmosphere as you enter the home is very positive with a calm atmosphere and cheerful staff. It is very well run and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

My'Godmother has dementia. When it became clear she needed full time residential care, Rosebank shone out. It was a bit like house hunting when you walk through the door and you immediately feel you are home. The personal touches are everywhere, staff are never far away and always have time to help
or just chat with the residents or guests, but hidden within this homely atmosphere is a daily programme designed to stimulate and encourage through fun activities. Our Godmother was housebound and rarely left her bedroom until she moved to Rosebank; now with their encouragement she is making friends again and has regained a smile we thought had gone forever!

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Rosebank for 4 months. She is well cared for and always appears happy when we visit. After months of concern before moving to Rosebank she now leads a full life with lots of activities and outings which we could never have provided at home. The food is varied
and wholesome and the staff very caring and approachable. We are kept updated by their message group chat which is a lovely way of seeing how settled she obviously is. I would highly recommend Rosebank to anyone making this difficult decision for a loved one.

I live at a distance from Bampton but was able to visit my mum in March. She is well, clearly well cared for and I am able to rest easier knowing both those things. Rosebank’s facilities are good, the catering is good and the staff are very caring and respectful, offering imaginative and creative activities
for the residents.

My mother has been a resident at Rosebank for just over a year now. We have been so impressed with how well kept the facilities are and how welcoming the staff are. When you walk in you feel like you are in a lovely home. There is a great menu daily and wonderful excursions and activities to keep everyone
occupied. I look forward to their monthly newsletters which always have lovely photos which we cherish. I feel very fortunate that we found Rosebank and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a care home.

We are always welcomed into the home by very pleasant, happy carers and made to feel very welcome. We are always offered refreshments and the staff are always willing to talk to us and listen to and act on any requests we might have regarding my husband. He is always kept very clean and tidy and seems
to be happy.

Friend of resident, visiting weekly since January 2023, usually stay for about 30-40 minutes. Previously came with member of the clergy for the monthly communion service.
Experience is good, staff are helpful, friendly and welcoming.

My dad has been at Rosebank for a couple of years now and the care he receives has been outstanding. He really enjoys the film nights and the local outings - and the staff always keep me up to date with how he's doing. Visitors are warmly welcomed and the staff always take the time to chat with me about
my dad. We were so lucky to find Rosebank and it really is a great weight off my shoulders knowing my dad is so well cared for.

My aunty transferred into Rosebank from a care home in Cheltenham back in July, and thanks to the skills of the Rosebank team settled in quickly. The care she has received from all the staff since then I can only describe as outstanding. Due mainly to her dementia my aunty can be 'difficult' but I have
never seen her treated with anything but care, understanding and respect. She is given the opportunity to take part in activities and engage with others (and to our amazement after 4 years of her refusing to venture outside of the confines of a care home was persuaded to take part in a shopping trip to local shops), and we are kept informed of any developments concerning her care.
The home itself always has a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and we feel very fortunate that she is being looked after in Rosebank.

My mother has nothing but praise for the caring and attentive staff. She has so much fun, including bowling, petting ponies, visits from all sorts of animals and enjoying just relaxing with her TV and snacks. A kind, caring and safe environment where I know Mum is always well-supported.

I have not observed personal care. However, I am always made welcome when I arrive and am offered a cup of tea. The resident seems happy and settled. The overall standard seems to be good. There is evidence of attending activities. The tea trolley is well stocked.

I cannot thank everyone at Rosebank Care Home enough. My mother was so well looked after throughout her stay here. I would recommend this home to anybody needing care for a family member. The end of life care was absolutely amazing, not just for Mum! I was looked after so well during the long hours

I am so pleased Mum moved into Rosebank six months ago, after a pretty traumatic time in hospital then a temporary care home. With dementia and poor mobility, she was overwhelmed, confused and under-weight. On arrival, it was as if a huge weight had lifted from us all. The staff are a wonderful team;
catering, maintenance, housekeeping, activities and management provide that all-round care that allows Mum to feel valued, relaxed, well cared for and safe. She eats well and enjoys a wide range of activities: trips out, time in the garden, exercise classes, hair-dos, crafts, films, music and more. She has a lovely room where the family can meet to enjoy private quiet time, but the residents and staff are a community who spend time together. Care extends to us as well; a cup of tea is always on offer, along with updates of what she has been doing. I feel comfortable and relaxed when I pop in to see her. I looked at a good number of care homes and this is the place you would want for your loved one.

Pleased with the quality of care for my mum. The staff are always polite, considerate and all know my mum well and her personal care needs. The only constructive feedback I can offer to review would be to: log, date and sign by P.O.A any jewellery which is to be kept safe, or sign a disclaimer that
if left on and it goes missing it clears responsibility for the care home. Also, different staff feedback different things when visiting, so this is confusing to know the right answer.

I am so pleased that my mother is in Rosebank Care Home. The staff see her as the warm and funny person she always was and still is, even though she understands very little and makes very little sense. They hug her, make her laugh, sing with her or dance with her. Everyone tells me how much they love
her. She was quite unwell recently, so my brother and I were there in her room as a member of staff gently woke her up, welcomed her back with a smile and patiently helped her to drink a glass of water, a task I would have thought impossible until I saw her do it. She showed so much kindness and common sense and I left utterly reassured, knowing she was in the safest of hands.

Rosebank is a wonderful care home with a real family feel. It feels like a real home and being relatively small, everyone there knows the staff and fellow residents. The activities team are very active and there is always something going on for the residents who enjoy joining in. Trips and outings are
a regular feature in the warmer weather. Also, the garden is a lovely and safe place for residents to enjoy the outdoors. It is also a great place to meet with family in the warmer weather - very efficient heating allows outdoor meetings in the spring and autumn too.

I have worked in the care sector and with Rosebank for over 16 years. I began my journey with Rosebank as a care worker and I am so proud to have progressed to home manager. I have loved working in care from the very beginning – I love taking care of our residents and making their lives enjoyable and fulfilling. If I can make at least one of my residents laugh or smile during the day, it makes my day!


Our vision for Rosebank has always been that it is, first and foremost our residents. Home; a place where they feel loved, safe, respected, and treated with dignity.


To help achieve this, our staff must understand our values, and be kind and compassionate... But also fun!


Our values are centred around residents having a sense of purpose and belonging, living well, and finding enjoyment. This is supported by ensuring residents have a choice, every day, on how they want to spend their time and with whom.


Having a link with our local community is a key priority at Rosebank. It is something we have striven to achieve and continue to develop. It is central to the happiness of our residents. The community at Bampton are involved in the lives of our residents on a daily basis. This is supported through regular interactions with local school children and even toddler groups.


Rosebank is a beautiful home, set in stunning Oxfordshire surroundings, but the essence of the home, and the very fabric of who we are, is nothing without the staff within it. The team is everything, from careful recruitment to ongoing support, training, and feeling valued and part of our family.

Before joining Rosebank, I worked in the luxury travel industry for over 20 years, organising round-the-world trips, marathons, fashion shoots and even some weddings. Due to the pandemic, I took voluntary redundancy, which is what led me to Rosebank!


In my spare time, I am kept on my toes with my 2 children and a complete house renovation project but when we get some downtime, you will always find me nipping off for long weekends or holidays in our caravan.

I originally started as a freelance painter & decorator but then came on board full time as the Maintenance Operative, where I work between Rosebank & Churchfields, spending a few days per week in each care home.


I started my working career many moons ago as an apprentice engineer, which was really interesting, especially working within the stunning university buildings in Oxford. After this, I used my new skills to work with the farming industries, helping to erect specialist farming buildings. I then moved on to own my own shop in Faringdon, selling antiques and collectables. I have also been in the painting & decorating business on and off since the 80’s.


I really enjoy the care industry, I will always make time to stop and have a chat to any residents about their day.

Fiona has over 30 years of experience working within the healthcare sector and is a Registered Nurse, remaining active on the NMC register. Her management career started as a charge nurse and then as a ward manager within the NHS, working in wards specialising in care for older adults enduring mental health conditions and dementia.


For the last 15 years, Fiona has worked in the Care Home Sector, taking on various Management roles, including Registered Manager, Regional Support Manager, Clinical and Quality Manager, Compliance Consultant and Operations Manager.


Remaining very hands-on clinically, she is passionate about supporting our management teams to deliver exceptional person-centred care, ensuring all individuals can maintain their independence and enjoy the excellent quality of life our care homes offer.

Louise is the Operations Manager at Premium Care Group Ltd, bringing over 20 years of experience in health and social care. Her career began as a domiciliary carer while raising her young children, originally seeking flexible work, she quickly discovered a deep passion for making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Since then, she has never looked back.


Throughout her career, Louise has held a variety of roles across the sector, each building on the last and shaping her strong understanding of what good care truly looks like. As Customer Liaison Manager, I support families in one of the most important decisions they’ll ever make, finding the right home for their loved ones. I guide and support each care enquiry with compassion and professionalism, ensuring every family feels heard, informed, and confident in their choices.


In addition to my work with families, I also oversee our marketing and advertising, helping to showcase the heart of our homes and the care we provide. I’m a people person at heart, and I’m proud to be part of a business that shares my core belief: life does not end with a dementia diagnosis. Our homes are places to continue living with dignity, joy, and purpose.

Danielle Barham

Job Title: Group Lifestyle Manager

In July 2025, I was honoured to become the Group Lifestyle Manager for Premium Care Group, where I oversee and develop lifestyle programmes across all our care homes to enhance residents’ wellbeing and quality of life.


Before this, I was Care Manager at Weald Hall, having started my career there as a care assistant. I quickly built strong relationships with residents and the care team. My passion has always been to make a genuine difference, caring for every resident as if they were part of my own family.

Sonya Virdee

Job Title: Group Clinical Manager

Sonya has been a qualified nurse for over 22 years, with extensive experience in both Acute and community settings across various National Health Care Services (NHS) in Northwest London. She has also worked in the Middle East with the Government on projects including reducing amputation rates and promoting awareness on wound management. In 2022, Sonya transitioned into the Nursing Home industry to utilise her broad knowledge and skills in managing clients with chronic conditions.


Sonya initially qualified as a general nurse in 2023 and went on to attain further qualifications, including Tissue Viability (specialising in managing all types of wounds, including cancerous wounds, pressure ulcers, and leg ulcers), Teaching and Co-mentoring, Leadership and Management. She also holds a master’s degree in Health and Social Person-Centred Care and a Meta Master's in Behaviour Studies.


She was previously the Home Manager at Kingfishers Care Home in Bourne End, where she had the privilege of being part of a diverse, modern, and dynamic management team at Premier Health Care. In her new role as Group Clinical Manager within the Premium Care Group, Sonya will be using her expertise to support the homes in achieving and maintaining high clinical standards.


In her spare time, Sonya enjoys reading and watching documentaries.
