Having to live so far away from my mother, I'm relieved knowing that she is in the care of such a loving and caring staff. The staff are always so cheerful and welcoming whenever I come to visit. I can't thank Rosebank enough for everything they do to make my mother's life so comfortable.

The staff at the care home have been so helpful and understanding. My father has been in hospital waiting to be discharged. They have been in contact with the hospital and have kept me updated. I am sure that once dad gets to the home he will be well looked after and hopefully want to stay there full time.

I was so pleased Mum moved into Rosebank just over 3 years ago. She had dementia and poor mobility, she was overwhelmed, confused and under-weight, but on arrival it was as if a huge weight had lifted. The staff are a wonderful team; the care team, catering, maintenance, housekeeping, activities & management provide that all-round care that allowed her to feel valued, relaxed, loved and safe. Home cooked food meant she ate well and she enjoyed a wide range of activities: trips out, time in the garden and with local school children, visits to Bampton Church, exercise classes, hair-dos, crafts, films, music, etc. Care extends to relatives; a cup of tea always on offer, with updates of what she has been doing. Ultimately Mum stayed at Rosebank for end of life care; I am so grateful for the caring, loving & gentle way she was supported through to the end. If you want a caring environment where residents are treated as individuals but live together as a community, then Rosebank is for you.

The care Hilary gets is excellent, staff really go out of their way to be patient, friendly and helpful. There is a distinct atmosphere of kindliness. Hilary is difficult to persuade to eat but they try very hard to find suitable food., She is regularly given drinks which she can drink on her own. Her mobility is not good but she is encouraged and helped to try to do what she can.

My Dad has been a resident at Rosebank for 18 months after leaving another local care home. From my first meeting with Vanessa I felt totally reassured that this was the place for my Dad.
All the staff are amazing, and nothing is too much trouble. They are kind and caring and everyone is treated with respect at all times. There is lots of fun and laughter. Special occasions and events are celebrated regularly and families are always welcomed.
The food is great and I love that Dad is given a choice daily. Even if that is three desserts!!!

The dementia journey is a tough one but im so grateful we found Rosebank,he couldn't be anywhere better.

My husband has advanced dementia and has been a resident in Rosebank for nearly 2 yrs . I have been very pleased with how he has settled and he seems contented whenever I visit. The staff are all very approachable and willing to address any issues I might have. There are daily activities which all residents can take part in if they wish. The food is very good and the menu is varied and flexible . The atmosphere as you enter the home is very positive with a calm atmosphere and cheerful staff. It is very well run and I would not hesitate to recommend it.

My'Godmother has dementia. When it became clear she needed full time residential care, Rosebank shone out. It was a bit like house hunting when you walk through the door and you immediately feel you are home. The personal touches are everywhere, staff are never far away and always have time to help or just chat with the residents or guests, but hidden within this homely atmosphere is a daily programme designed to stimulate and encourage through fun activities. Our Godmother was housebound and rarely left her bedroom until she moved to Rosebank; now with their encouragement she is making friends again and has regained a smile we thought had gone forever!

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Rosebank for 4 months. She is well cared for and always appears happy when we visit. After months of concern before moving to Rosebank she now leads a full life with lots of activities and outings which we could never have provided at home. The food is varied and wholesome and the staff very caring and approachable. We are kept updated by their message group chat which is a lovely way of seeing how settled she obviously is. I would highly recommend Rosebank to anyone making this difficult decision for a loved one.

I live at a distance from Bampton but was able to visit my mum in March. She is well, clearly well cared for and I am able to rest easier knowing both those things. My dad has been at Rosebank for a couple of years now and the care he receives has been outstanding. My aunty transferred into Rosebank from a care home in Cheltenham back in July, and thanks to the skills of the Rosebank team settled in quickly. The care she has received from all the staff since then I can only describe as outstanding. Due mainly to her dementia my aunty can be 'difficult' but I have never seen her treated with anything but care, understanding and respect. She is given the opportunity to take part in activities and engage with others (and to our amazement after 4 years of her refusing to venture outside of the confines of a care home was persuaded to take part in a shopping trip to local shops), and we are kept informed of any developments concerning her care.

The home itself always has a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and we feel very fortunate that she is being looked after in Rosebank.

I came to work at Rosebank during the pandemic in Dec 2020 and I love every minute of working here. I am so proud that as a team we can help make such a positive difference to our residents and their families’ lives.

Before joining Rosebank, I worked in the luxury travel industry for over 20 years, organising round-the-world trips, marathons, fashion shoots and even some weddings. Due to the pandemic, I took voluntary redundancy, which is what led me to Rosebank!

In my spare time, I am kept on my toes with my 2 children and a complete house renovation project but when we get some downtime, you will always find me nipping off for long weekends or holidays in our caravan.
