  • a) The Average Rating is 4.6 out of 5 from 8 Reviews over all time. This Average Rating is also the rating value for Rosebank Care Home in Google's Search Results - more info

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.0 out of 5 from 3 positive Reviews in the last 12 months.

Good = 4. Satisfactory = 3. Poor = 2. Very Poor = 1. These points are added up and then divided by the total number of completed ratings to generate the average rating.

    The Average Rating of 4.583 for Rosebank Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (60 Excellents x 5) + (32 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 96 Ratings = 4.583

    1. 4 points are available for the first 5 Positive Reviews, 3 points for the first Positive Review and then 0.25 Points for each of the next 4 Positive Reviews.

    2. 1 point is available for reaching a target number of Positive Reviews based on 20% of the number of registered maximum number of service users. If the target is partially reached then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home with 50 registered maximum number of service users has a target of 10 Positive Reviews, if it has 10 or more Positive Reviews it will receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews will receive 0.7 points.

The 4.036 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Rosebank Care Home is based on 3 positive Reviews in the last 12 months and is calculated as follows:

    1. 3 + 0.25 + 0.25 = 3.5

My parents were at Rosebank for several years, mum suffering from dementia and dad as an amputee. They both received great care and affection. I always felt that they were in the safest of hands. The staff are a fabulous bunch and it speaks volumes to say that they come to work at Rosebank and stay - the place really does have a homely feel and it's clear that the care team, the admin team and the owners are committed to providing high-quality care to all everyone. I was made very welcome when I visited - the staff were consistently cheerful, patient and professional, always finding time for a chat if I had any worries. The admin folk were readily approachable, answering emails quickly and effectively. I also know that my parents were kept busy with a great range of day-time activities. Many photos are taken by the team and thanks to them, I've got lovely images of them having a great time, doing all sorts of things, both with beaming smiles on their faces!

Rosebank Care Home is a converted typical Cotswold building. There are four well-kept rooms (lounges), two of which look out onto well-tended gardens. One of the lounges is used for dining and some residents use 'hospital' type tables near their armchairs. Food appears to be well presented and wholesome. The staff are well-trained and undergo courses for dementia. They are kind, caring and considerate towards residents. The bedrooms are a good size and beds have side rails.

Rosebank Care Home is a very caring home. Staff are always polite and welcoming to our arrival and someone is always there if we need to talk. They have a lot of patience with the more difficult residents. Activities are changed everyday and also visits are arranged to stimulate the residents and all festivals are celebrated. If problems arise we are informed straight away by phone and told what action is being taken. My mother was also in Rosebank Care Home 7 years ago and the same staff are still there which is good. All the rooms are clean and fresh and the garden is used all the time in the summer. We love it.

The last 5 weeks of Ma's life known to the staff were beyond words. The care that Ma received was not only with dignity but with love and compassion especially the last week of her life. Ma was never left, turned/moved every 2 hrs, mouth swabbed with lip moisturising also every two hours. Endless cups of teas for my husband and myself and anything we asked for was dealt with immediately. The most upsetting for us was the devotion and love they showed to Ma when changing shifts saying goodbye to her not knowing if she would be there the next day. The home is more than a home but next step to peace, love and tranquility before we leave this earth. Thank you to everyone.

Rosebank is everything we could have hoped for for my Mum. The staff take brilliant care of her and are all very well trained, helpful and sensitive to her needs and her dignity. The atmosphere is calm and friendly and the home is always well presented, a lovely environment. As a relative, I have always been treated with kindness, sensitivity and professionalism. First rate.

Two related family friends have lived here, one for 2 years, the other for 8 years. It was difficult as I live several hours away. I must say I always felt they were in excellent hands and they felt they were with friends-they loved it. The Manager and her staff always communicated and always had the best interests of the patients they were looking after. Trips out always caused great excitement.

At difficult times like hospital problems, they always went the extra mile, and when the end was near, I can only commend the compassion shown in all the right ways.

It is a happy place and I met the owner there frequently who was always very involved in the right ways.

All in all, it meant I could relax in the knowledge they were looked after.
