The philosophy is to enable people to continue their lives in a dignified, loving and safe home. Bampton has a vibrant community life which carers encourage residents to be a part of. The home is integrated into the community and they in turn are actively involved in the home.
In addition, the home is truly fortunate to have an excellent medical team in the village, of GPs, district nurses and a pharmacy, who visit the home daily and involve themselves in all phases of care.
All staff are well trained and are supported to achieve national qualifications. The home also has a comprehensive in house training programme. Staff are experienced to deal with all aspects of care in the elderly, including physical infirmity and psychological needs. Carers have a particular expertise in the management of dementia.
The home can accommodate long and short term stays, day care, rehabilitation and respite stays.
Selecting a care home for a loved one is an important decision. Interested parties are welcome to call or visit the home at any time. Staff will be happy to chat to you and offer any guidance, advice and support they are able.

My experiance of Rosebank and the staff has been absolutly fantastic.
The whole experience of Dad going into care was overwhelming but was made so much easier by Louise she made the transition so easy for both Dad and Me. Care excellent staff excellent Couldn't have asked for more.

It's the first time I've visited or even been to Bampton. Came from a busy London to tranquil Bampton. Very friendly welcome, even the builders told me the best place to park my car. Was welcomed by Natalie who took me through to visit my mum in the lounge. She was interested, helpful and cheerful as were all other staff. Mym appears happy and comfortable and enjoys the facilities + garden. Bampton is nice for a wander around too.
Mum was not safe in her own house she now is. It's a relief and a joy to see her so happy.

I was so pleased Mum moved into Rosebank just over 3 years ago. She had dementia and poor mobility, she was overwhelmed, confused and under-weight, but on arrival it was as if a huge weight had lifted. I was so pleased Mum moved into Rosebank just over 3 years ago. She had dementia and poor mobility, she was overwhelmed, confused and under-weight, but on arrival it was as if a huge weight had lifted. The staff are a wonderful team; the care team, catering, maintenance, housekeeping, activities & management provide that all-round care that allowed her to feel valued, relaxed, loved and safe. Home cooked food meant she ate well and she enjoyed a wide range of activities: trips out, time in the garden and with local school children, visits to Bampton Church, exercise classes, hair-dos, crafts, films, music, etc. Care extends to relatives; a cup of tea always on offer, with updates of what she has been doing. Ultimately Mum stayed at Rosebank for end of life care; I am so grateful for the caring, loving & gentle way she was supported through to the end. If you want a caring environment where residents are treated as individuals but live together as a community, then Rosebank is for you.

Her career began with night shifts as a carer before moving to days and progressing to Senior Carer and, ultimately, Deputy Manager. Throughout her career, Lesley has remained passionate about making a genuine difference to people’s lives, believing that even the smallest gesture can have a meaningful impact.

Before joining Rosebank, I worked in the luxury travel industry for over 20 years, organising round-the-world trips, marathons, fashion shoots and even some weddings. Due to the pandemic, I took voluntary redundancy, which is what led me to Rosebank!
In my spare time, I am kept on my toes with my 2 children and a complete house renovation project but when we get some downtime, you will always find me nipping off for long weekends or holidays in our caravan.

I started my working career many moons ago as an apprentice engineer, which was really interesting, especially working within the stunning university buildings in Oxford. After this, I used my new skills to work with the farming industries, helping to erect specialist farming buildings. I then moved on to own my own shop in Faringdon, selling antiques and collectables. I have also been in the painting & decorating business on and off since the 80’s.

Daisy is an 11-year-old community champion who has been visiting The Anchorage care home since she was a toddler. A few years ago, she created Through the Eyes of a Child, a heartfelt initiative designed to capture children’s honest reflections on their experiences of visiting the care home, helping staff and residents see the environment through a child’s perspective.
What began as a simple idea has grown into a meaningful programme that fosters intergenerational connections. Daisy encourages children from local schools to visit the home, building friendships with residents and taking part in activities, events, and outings. She has also developed feedback forms to ensure children’s voices are heard and valued.
Over the past year, Daisy’s compassion and dedication have been widely recognised. She has received a Champions of Care Special Recognition Award from Person Centred Software, the Community Cup from her school for her empathy and service, and the Saxon Weald Local Community Youth Winner Award for her outstanding contribution to the care home and wider community. She is also due to join the PDCCA Volunteer Friends Scheme in the New Year.
Now beginning to share Through the Eyes of a Child with other care homes across the group, Daisy continues to lead with kindness, empathy, and maturity beyond her years, proving that age is no barrier to making a meaningful difference.
