About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Care Home Manager to lead our residential care home, Derwent Lodge, in West Sussex.

As Registered Manager, you will have full responsibility for the operational leadership of the home — ensuring we provide safe, high-quality, person-centred care, in line with CQC standards.

You’ll be supported by a wider leadership team at Splendid Healthcare and have the autonomy to shape a service you can be proud of.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strong leadership across care, hospitality, administration, and facilities
Maintain full compliance with CQC, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations
Champion a positive, inclusive, and empowering environment for residents and staff
Drive continuous quality improvement and person-centred practices
Manage recruitment, training, development, and performance of the team
Oversee budgets and ensure sound financial management
About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

Passionate about delivering excellent care
Able to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team
Highly organised, with strong communication skills
A confident and experienced care home leader
Requirements

Previous experience as a Registered Manager or equivalent leadership role
In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and care compliance
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards)
Right to work in the UK

Desirable:
1st Level Nursing qualification
Budget management experience
