Hours: 37.5 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift times 09:00-17:00)

The Grange Care Home offers family-led residential and specialist dementia care for up to 40 residents. Situated in the Debden Grange Retirement Village, our care home is close to Saffron Walden and just a short drive from Cambridge. Led by the manager, our fantastic team offer highly compassionate, personalised care, that is tailored to the needs of each individual.  .

About The Wellbeing Lead Role:

What you will be doing is hard to capture, below are some of the key parts of the Wellbeing Lead role:
a?€¢    Responsibility for supervising and managing a small team of Wellbeing Coordinators which includes induction, training, supervision and general oversight.
a?€¢    Get to know all our residents likes, dislikes and their greatest wish!
a?€¢    Manage the activities budget, including planning & delivery of fundraising events.
a?€¢    Build and manage relationships with the local community to ensure continuity of social connections for the residents.
a?€¢    Create working rotas to accommodate all wellbeing team members.
a?€¢    Evaluate participation across the home to ensure inclusion and opportunities for all residents.

About You:
We are looking for an individual who can manage a small team & strives to make a difference every day to the lives of our residents:
a?€¢    Experience of working within the care sector
a?€¢    At least 1 years' experience working in a fundraising capacity OR activities type role.
a?€¢    Have a friendly & caring attitude.
a?€¢    Experience of working with people living with dementia
a?€¢    An' ideas' person who is inventive, who can 'celebrate moments of magic.
a?€¢    Good planning & development skills
a?€¢    Excellent communication skills that bring people together.
a?€¢    Experience of managing a small team.
a?€¢    Have experience and understanding of health & wellbeing.
