Holbrook Hall is a warm and welcoming residential care home for the elderly, set in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside just outside Derby. Our historic William and Mary-style country house is surrounded by four acres of landscaped gardens, providing a peaceful and supportive environment for our residents. We pride ourselves on delivering professional, compassionate care while promoting independence and dignity.

The Role
We are looking for a caring, reliable, and committed Weekend Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. This role is for 12 hours per week, working Saturday and Sunday from 0800 to 1400, with additional overtime available. You will provide essential support to our residents, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meals, and mobility
• Support residents to maintain independence while ensuring their safety
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation
• Contribute to a warm, respectful, and positive home environment

What We’re Looking For

• A compassionate and patient nature
• Strong communication skills in English (required)
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (desirable but not essential)
• Previous experience in a care setting is an advantage, but not essential – full training will be provided
